what about making a visit to prospeed in cardiff they will make you an exhaust that will fit your needs (loud quiet and straight) failing that go and see the yozzasport guys who will also arrange for the exhaust to be fitted for you.
As for the inlet sending it off the BenR is well worth it, as...
On a 1.2 16v the longer the cold feed or inlet pipe to the induction kit the bigger the loss of torque. Im talking about the K-tec, vipers w/cold air feed and the hill power as pictured above the 1.2 16v's inlet length is already five miles long as it is.
The only reason you should buy one is...
you can buy an insert for it but it would cost just as much to replace the back box. the main problem about the 1.2 16v is that it only has one silencer, you could have a middle silencer put in this may give you a more peaceful life
It will either be the oil switch as shown with the red circle ensure it is connected properly. If the oil has been over filled and then dropped the light will still stay on - check the dip stick too.

Here is the standard belt route for a full fat 172
This is a side view of the way i have set mine up missing out the power steering pump shown on the cup set up (picture is of yoz's engine)
This shows the cups alternator bracket and belt route
This is my set up shown from above
It still runs the right way even though its hard to picture it, you need the cup alternator/pump mount if your doing away with the aircon - you'll need a cup alternator and power steering pump also as they are different, you could however bodge it or make a custom mount if needed.
When i changed my engine i called the DVLA and they stated that the tax band stays the same as it goes off the car and not the engine. my car is still a clio extreme 16v and they take that as final along with its emissions for the tax band. mines been done now for 2 years and has had 2 mot's via...
