Quite easily. It's just a supermini, a shopping trolley with a 2.0l engine in and different suspension. In no way can it be considered a 'sporty' car.
Scoobys and evo I'd class as sporty as they have 4wd, big BHP etc, things the clio doesn't have.
Some people on here really do think highly...
I thought the police (or some organisation working with the police anyway) could test your car's omissions at the side of the road? To check to see if you have a CAT. Failure could result in a £1,000 fine?
Oh, as for insurance covering de-cats.... I would have thought no ins. company would...
The clio is a supermini with a (for it's class) big engine in, so it's a fairly hot hatch.
It's not sporty and certainly cannot be classed as a 'sports car' imo.
A 172 at 17 eh? You must be loaded.
I didn't get my first car until I was 20! And that was a fiesta which had rust on it. Although now I'm an old man and 172 insurance is about £500.
£1,300 at 17? Just wait until you come to the UK!

:dapprove:
Faster than something like a 106 gti/saxo vts?
How would your 1.5 TURBO diesel compare against something similar like a Mitsi colt 1.5 turbo petrol?
Diesel owners keep forgetting their cars have turbos! And compare them to n/a petrols.
Arggh.
Whatever petrol you like. People here reckon v-power has advantages over regular, might try it for a few tanks when I can afford it!
Just don't put diesel in it :clown:
Mine did this a few months ago, squealing when turning right, feared that something was very wrong
Turned out that it was the brakes pads, changed them and the noise went, turns out the pads were shagged. The squealing will get worse and worse until braking at any speeds sounds like a...
I changed my cambelt when it was 5 years old, car had only done 45k miles.
The belt was still in very good condition when it was removed. Choice is yours, but should be fine, your milage isn't high enough to cause concern.
