Spotted a tidy Racing Blue FF 182 with stripes in the Car Park at the Netherfield Morrisons yesterday morning (Sunday 18th).
Looked really tidy, and neat "Elf" stickers on the side-skirts (where the "Trophy" sticker would be on..er...a Trophy!)
Can't help but agree here; I've had my 182 now 18 months, bought it brand new and (thanks partly to a four-mile-round-trip commute) i've only done 8,900 miles in mine.
Like the OP, I still get a huge smile every time I chuck it into a corner, I still love the handling and the way it drives...
The "T1" card is the hardware ISDN card - you can configure this as ISDN30e (the 'European' standard) if you like; My T1 cards hands off one trib' of a leased-line (which itself is configured as an ISDN 30e).
I only mentioned Asterisk because its free, it runs on linux so moderate PC/server...
It's a linux-based software system, but you might want to check out Asterisk: http://www.asterisk.org/
I've been running this for the last 18 months for my office of thirty employees and four remote sites; using Cisco 79xx VOIP phones.
The software is open source; and the documentation makes...
It would probably happen less; the more you 'rag' it, I guess the more you'll clear out anything in the exhaust.
However, on cold mornings, you'll still find some residue in there which will be cleared out when driving 'enthusiastically' shall we say...
It's quite normal; water condenses in the exhaust, and when you drive erm, enthusiastically, shall we say  the water is blown out of the exhaust, and ends up on your rear window.
I look at it this way; it's the sign that you've driven the car "properly!"
The digital trip computer and the analogue fuel gauge are fed by two different sender units; I always find that when the 'reserve' light comes on, the Trip computer displays "---" for the 'remaining' mileage in my 182.
I've also found that the analogue fuel gauge is a bit erratic; when I fill...
I've got the 'release' versions of Ultimate and Business Vista (we're an MS partner) and if you throw the right hardware at them, they will run OK.
Having said this, I too have seen BSOD's, which were definately caused by drivers; driver support in Vista is still patchy at the moment, as it was...
I've found this (odd) "design" on my 182 - a quick tip; get a good sized blob of vaseline, and smear it over the terminals.
Yes, it looks a bit messy, but it'll keep water (and more importantly, corrosion!) at bay.
Renault seem to leave quite a few bits in the 182 engine bay 'uncovered' -...
My local independent, including fully synthetic oil, £125.
(the only thing not done was the pollen filter, as I'd only coverd 6.5k in the 12 months, and they said it really didn't need changing!)
Indeed you did - came back from my monthly shopping to find a CS flyer under the wiper...!! (first time I've been "spotted").
Was sorry to see the damage to the cup mate - hope you get it sorted out!
...it's just a nick-name, but it basically means all the "extra" goodies that you don't get on a Cup model (A/C, Xenon headlights, ASB etc).
Also, as their names imply, there is (approx..) 10BHP difference between the 172 and 182 models.
Some say the Cup models are slightly faster, due to the...
182 is the newer car, and later models ("Full Fat") have all the toys like the Xenon headlights, ABS, ESP/Traction Control and Climate control.
Stripped-down "Cup" models are more basic, but some would say more fun - it just depends on your budget really, how much do you want to spend....?
Here's a few piccies I took over the weekend, about thirty in all:

(I posted this as a 'new' thread, as the other RWS picture thread is locked?)
Was a great weekend; the highlights for me were the Clio Cup racers and the "Parade Laps" on both days!
As above, it was a blond girl in a Trophy, she was right in front of me in the parade on Sunday, and was waved in at Redgate after the first "Parade" lap.
To be fair, yes, she did slow down a bit to have a run (especially into the start of the Melbourne Loop!) but didn't everyone??
Still, it...

If your laptop is stuffed, it might not even run long enough to copy the files over to the new laptop (either via network cable or similar).
If you've more music than will fit on the iPod (and who hasn't!) then one option might be to get an external 2.5" USB hard disk holder (you can get these...
r-jay's absolutely right - my 182 is now seven months old, and when new it had the "Supaguard" applied, and it was literally like looking at glass when clean.
I've noticed since the onset of Winter the overall 'shine' has faded a little, however, some decent polish, and sealing wax, will...
My 182 had 6 miles on it when collected; this is usually what you'll see termed as "Delivey Mileage" as they have (fairly obviously) moved the cars around when they are built.
I think the K-Tec Carbon one is arond £105 - I might be investing in one after I had an argument with the speed ramps in my local Multi-storey car park! :S
You will definately enjoy it -
Hell, i'm (nearly) 37, and after years of bland company motors, opted-out and bought a 182 last July.
I have since decided it's possibly the most fun thing I've *ever* bought, and love it to absolute bits!
Rob,
The switch (or wheel) is (on a 182) only for changing the brightness of the dash-lights. In other Clio models, where that wheel is, there's a similar button for adjusting the headlights.
As far as I know (I think on my 182, anyway!) the headlights are supposed to be 'self' adjusting -...
