Bulbs tend to either work or not if you see what I mean! The starter cost me around £150 but thats with a staff discount on parts from Renault. Might be able to get one from a breakers for cheaper than that tho.
Thats not to say it will deffo be the starter though, it could just be a loose...
How many times have you tried that? One of the xenon starters failed on mine and it would work intermittently. Test it over a couple of days to see if it is just an intermittent thing.
Since seeing Craggy's old VTS holding off a CTR until 90mph I now work on the basis that all these hot hatches are much the same in terms of straight line perfomance. Half a second here there on a 0-100 time is nothing really.
I've thought about getting a replacement for mine, but then there's no guarantee that that one won't buzz either! Apparently disconnecting it altogether is a big no no as well.
Sounds like someone has probably got handy with the spanners under the bonnet. You can manually adjust the alignment of the xenons by turning the white hex screw on the back of the light unit. You could do it yourself to get it back to something like how it should be, but it would probably still...

Car isnt under warranty anymore so it wont be a freebie. I was hoping I could try swapping over the starters to see if...
Still on the Eibach Pros. I thought about trying out some other coilovers, but I dont think I can be bothered with the expense. These are plenty good enough for now.
Ive had Eibach Pros and FK Coilovers on mine. I still think that the Pros are the better real world alternative. The coilovers were better on smooth roads, no doubt about that, but they didnt react so well to bumpy back roads in my experience. I found that when you were really going for it, the...
Not sure. I think one of them is the airbag light (and also the SERV light), possibly caused because he had bucket seats fitted, but I dont know for certain.
As one of my lights only works intermittently I thought Id have a poke around to see whats what. Now I know that each bulb has a starter to light it up in the first place, but Im not sure of exactly where that is. Is it the black box thats attached to the back of the bulb surround? I took one...

There was one of those V6 Beetles going around Lincoln a few weeks ago. They sound pretty nice. It doesnt have the immediate visual effect of a Clio V6 but they still look good.
I sometimes use a block of wood between the trolley jack and the car but quite a few times Ive just used the jack straight onto it. The axle stands have never been a problem for me, as long as you get them lined up directly under the beam I cant see that youll have a problem.
