Here you go. Use the point that Ive circled for the jack and axle stands.

The pic was taken from just behind the nearside front wheel. The wheel that you can see in the pic is the offside front.
Ive been in Stamford a fair bit recently. Have either of you seen an awful yellow MG ZR driving about? Its got some big gay bodykit on it, probabaly the worst looking car Ive ever seen on the road!
If youve got it to hand, then that would be good. Also I dont suppose you know the dimensions for the manifold do you? Namely the diameter of the bodies and the port spacings?
Cheers
Rick
If money is an issue then get a 1 year old car with all the bits you want e.g. the air con, airbags. Therefore youre saving money on the depreciation whilst still getting a car with two years warranty. Bits like speakers and gearknobs etc can be cheaply and easily changed if you dont like them...
It wont do any favours for the headline grabbing 0-60 time if you have to change twice on the way. Even if it is a six speed they can still easily make it do 60 in second.
If they start with a 172 box, all they should do is play around with 4th, 5th and 6th to give a bit better acceleration...

Yeah, the bulbs seem to be fine. There would appear to be something seriously wrong given that the dash light doesnt come on either.
That headlight that I thought Id fixed isnt working again either! :( :( No night driving for me then...
When I pull the left stalk back to go to full beam I get nothing! Worringly, the blue light on the dashboard doesnt even come on. Ive checked the fuses for both sides but theyre fine. I can hear the stalk click when I pull it back so Im not sure that its a prob with the stalk itself.

I wasnt too keen on the sound of the Viper kit on mine, and I didnt really notice any performance benefit. Fitting is a bit fiddly and the only easy route for the cold air feed is to run it down into the arch, just behind the foglight. Did look good tho...
Arrggh, yet another Flame Red 172 spotted in Lincoln and its still not me!! Daft thing is I never see any other red 172s around town.
Ive seen quite a few blue 182s flying around lincoln recently. Is yours modded at all? I saw one the other day with white wheels that looked pretty smart.
That red connector should pull apart. Id say judging by the number of wires youve got there, the speakers and the power cables are all together rather than on two separate connectors.
Just needs an adapter to go from the red connector into the back of your head unit. Have a go at it yourself...
