I would definately get a de-cat if you can be doing with the hassle come mot time.
I have just fitted a decat to my 172 and already have one on the williams and hybrid.

No I dont think so mate, I had a look and should be able to see it without removing the plenum.
It goes to a canister in the front drivers wheel arch, is this needed? I removed the acoustic valve from the other side and just put a screw in the pipe.
Pt1 - Under plenum?
Pt2 - Where is the acoustic valve that this fits into?
Pt3 - CAS have one on the shelf for £21
Pt4 - As per Matt's post with a folded over piece of hose?

Its really easy mate, did mine on my own in 15mins. Use the renault jack to support one end while you fit the other

Surely if the tweeter was knackered it would do it at all volume's and mainly while cranked up, not while on quiet.

Adrian flux dont charge any extra for mods, they just wont pay out for them
Had carbon bonnet, coilovers, exhaust and i/k on the 172 and no increase. Well only £20 admin fee to add them to my policy
I have a set of these cheap and cheerful comp's in the work van running off of my Kenwood amp.
All is fine apart from one of the tweeters.
On low volume it crackles, sort of sounds like it is under water and sometimes completely cuts out until I turn the volume up, then it suddenly just cuts...
