Dan's point is though that the range is much more limited as I can go out and buy any Canon EF lens second hand, and he can go out and buy any Nikon AF lens second hand, and it'd work. You've got to buy new glass from Sony or Sigma or if you're lucky and someone hasn't already snapped them up...
On the 16s, I liked the Pilot Exalto PE2s. Fantastic road tyres IMHO, but there are plenty of good'uns to choose from and the PE2s are the most expensive of the crop...
Erm. What?
I see nothing. Brembo and OEM aren't the same part, but both work just fine. HC's are a little better in terms of stopping power but pad is more significant a factor...
Re: What breaks to get?
Are you an obsessive detailer, where do you drive, how hard, and are you bothered about noise?
Driving normally and within the speed limits:
Standard pads and Brembo HC disks.
Fast road:
Ferodo DS2500 on either Brembo HC or Tarox G88 disks.
Heavy track use/my...
So, it means that they're not unsafe through design flaw. If they handle like a bag of spanners, that's for me to work out. As per the OP. So I've spent £200 to work out if some perfectly safe components suit the car and more importantly the way I drive.
Care to tell me where that compares to...
£200, TUV approved shocks and springs. And FYI:
TUV is one of, if not THE hardest type approval to attain for automotive parts and accessories. If it gets this approval, then chances are it's quite adequate...
I do believe it was these guys who did this:
To my Smart. Fantastic ride quality given that it had about a centimeter of travel, went round corners like it was on rails - point, shoot.
Because when you're approaching a stationary line of vehicles on a motorway or A road (for example) it's nice to know they're there. The intensity of a fog light allows you to see this earlier and prepare for the fact that they may not be moving. If someone is sat there with their normal...
Nice, so several people who think that blinding someone behind you (and masking your brake lights) is a great idea when visibility is obscured, not by a mist, but by relatively solid objects.
Fantastic. Clever bunch on here aren't we!
Hence the term, 'Fog' lights.
This is going nowhere, although much LOLs to be had soon when you post about how you got fined for driving with your fogs on.
