I'm impressed they cope that well! But having never tried it I've not got the experience to say. There was plenty left over on my Trophy on DS2500s and Brembo HCs though, so I'm not completely shocked!
And using engine braking you can usually get some epic pops as you feather the throttle back on. Over-run FTW!
Looking forward to being able to get a slightly rich over-run on mine.
Not a mad fan of HP laptops other than the Elitebooks. The rest of the range can feel very plasticky so I'd go for the Macbook (yes, you can quote me).
However I'd also consider looking at the Dells unless you truly hate them. The E4300 is a very competent machine.
Your eyes can tell this obviously.
My toe was a country mile out (6 degrees toe-in on the OSR) on the S4 and it didn't do that. Fred saw it from 10 feet away! There's probably more going than just that.
She's obviously had it on a 4WA machine to check the camber and that's not out.
Oh, wait, no, she's decided it's probably toe related (which yes, it's probably exacerbating the situation!) so it's suddenly not cmaber.
It makes a massive difference, but nowhere near as much difference as being able to drive properly. Get some lessons and you'll learn to use both the brakes and engine to slow you down and you'll get far bigger and more heroic tripods (usually at scary angles!) than those folk with million pot...
Well, just on my way up to Redcar (Hai Needy) as there appears to be a black leather S4 interior up for grabs. Here's hoping it's what I'm after so I can pillage covers/bolsters from it and save myself a grand there! Bodywork-wise, Halfords have mixed up a tin of very badly matching paint...
RS Fabrications in Banbury. Made an epic job of my V6 exhaust - you could have sailed the Titanic into it and it would have done more damage to the ship!
I decided to shop for a mechanically good one - this one's been looked after bar the thermostat failure, the owner was meticulous about rectifying faults and has stacks of receipts for sensors that have reported odd readings and been replaced along with other bits and bobs.
And this most...
Nah - I'm OCD as it is! And it's beyond detailing. I don't want to get the money back, just want it to be 'right' for me - I HAVE to keep this car, and as such it's going to get a bit of attention. Mechanically, it needs only a little love (although Fred will probably disagree on my definition...
The BBS' are lovely, but at best I'd get a swap for standard wheels and it's not worth the extra weight. I've got £1200 of retrim and £3000 of respray to do before it's worth changing the wheels for better looking!
