    My Clio V6!

Aye, clownshoe I spoke to at the stealership suggested he might be interested in a straight swap for a Z he's got up for £8200. I tried my best to be polite... And yup, but house wasn't in the life plan for a couple of years, but decided as the market was starting to look up that I should...

    My Clio V6!

Cheers both. Let's not have this turn into a how much my car is worth thread - I don't expect to see all of that £17k otherwise I'd have put it up for more... However on the same tone I expect to see more than Experian suggest it's worth at £8200.

    My Clio V6!

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1506840.htm About all I can say really... Will be missed hugely but I can't justify it with buying a house! :(

    Windows Mobile 7

Nah - that's what WM6.5 was... A pretty face on a dead horse they've been flogging since 2003. WM7 is supposed to be a ground-up job.

    Windows Mobile 7

About time TBH, WM6.5 was a very poor rehash of an OS which was designed as a PDA then fcuked with to turn it into a phone...

    Symantec Backup Exec = Amazing

You can indeed spend an awful long time f*cking about trying to fix it's various whinges, but just sometimes it works without problems. Then it's nice! Should be banned. Allow big mailboxes, ban PSTs.

    Snow Foam

Vote against snow foam here. Do it because she thinks it looks cool, but other than that it doesn't achieve anything more than a proper jet wash will! Still needs washing!

    MB or MBP???

Got licences for Office 2008. All I need is a Cack to put it on. Thinking about it with the refresh, but then the funds could easily go on a nice solid oak floor...

You've missed him trying to sell it: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=486834

my 172 cup not as fast as it use to be?

TBH You've probably killed it. Tolerances after an engine rebuild are very tight, so you need to break it in gently rather than thrashing it from the off. Then you post saying it doesn't seem right. So you carry on thrashing it. I'd print this thread off and send it to Essex Engines or...

    MB or MBP???

MBP update will include the new Intel procs at a guess - hence the delay as Intel are having issues keeping up with demand for the chips.

    T6PHY m5 today

Lol. I've seen T6PHY in and around Warwick a couple of times as well. Think he must be a local boy to these parts!

    The M5 doesn't go to Banbury? :s

    FPMSL at 3GB/11GB/25GB/256GB. 1.5TB FTW!

    Making An active sub removable

Doesn't have fittings for the larger power wires, but I like the thinking!

    Symantec Backup Exec = Amazing

Well, just been forced into BE2010 as our backup server spat it's dummy out. And for the first time in 2 years we've had our first, 100% successful, no exceptions, no failure Exchange 2007 backup. Even if the rest of it hasn't really progressed, this is a massive achievement. As I was about...

    Vein's BMW

Shame about that awful stereo - I used to have a 'period' Sony tape deck with 6-disk changer, but got rid not long ago! Car looks ace though. Do quite like them...

    Lacquer scratches..

OOooo no! Not on a polisher! By hand. And AG Paint Restorer and Scratch-X are a better shout as they break down, IIRC T-Cut doesn't so it never turns into a 'finishing' polish as you work it in.
  21. Mike_182

    Lacquer scratches..

As much as I hate to say it, T-Cut, AutoGlym Paint Restorer, Meguiars Scratch-X or anything like that is your best real hope unless you have access to a machine polisher. And you'd better be very, very lucky. I've seen grit-scratches that needed wetsanding out.

    £5995 for a Ph1 V6?

I fixed it for you. ;)
  23. Mike_182

    So from this...

You definitely bought the wrong colour then... My Vee is littered with RDS' and such likes and it bugs the f*ck out of me!
  24. Mike_182

    So from this...

Glad it's all sorted! Now you can get some polish on the swirlbus.

    £5995 for a Ph1 V6?

FPMSL! I've seen a few Mk1s with Mk2 rears, including Craigs.
  26. Mike_182

    So from this...

Yup, save those for when you don't get a decent answer on the service book...

    Command and conquer 4!

Yeah, been playing it for a while. It's pretty good but also I think it makes a long move away from the C&C of old which may not be a welcome one...
  28. Mike_182

    GUTTED!!!

WTF not?! Hai, brand new engine, run it in nicely. As opposed to some clownshoe that thought he was a hero as he left the car park on the limiter.
  29. Mike_182

    So from this...

I can think of a million people I'd sooner piss off than you, m'lady... Best of luck sorting it! :) Shame it's taken the edge off a car which by your own admission is otherwise pretty good...
