Aye, I have to say having driven both I think the 182 would be quicker on a track purely because you can understeer to your heart's content to work out you're at the limit. In the Vee you get an inch of understeer and a mile of oversteer when you get past that limit.
Indeed. Not sure on the Ford one but when you're doing 70-80mph then a polite 'ping' is near inaudible. Should be fitted with foghorns at least! Although funny tale, guy I used to work with lent his car to this bird who's pants he wanted to get into, and he'd set the speed limiter to a ton. She...
I've not found a speed limiter that works the same way as the Frenchies anyway, which is a shame. The Clio one I think is bob on, and the VAG one just 'pings' at you to tell you you're going faster than you wanted to.
I honestly don't know why you would have that green. I had a look at it, and the thought of being in that for any more than a half hour at a pop made me queazy.
I can sail 20m down the road with the wheels locked up on ice from a walking pace, so at 25mph a couple of car lengths with locked wheels is nothing.
Don't forget that as soon as your wheels lock, the rate at which you slow down drops dramatically! So where you could stop quite comfortably in...
Mmmm. Definitely prefer the back as it looks less 'lardy', and the front is similarly 'slimmed' but I agree it's one that takes a bit more getting used to... Definitely think it's an improvement on the Mk5 though.
Nice. You know my thoughts on the white - looks good now but a) will be a mofo at picking up tree sap spots/tar and such, and b) may get dated a bit quickly, and the dustbin exhausts really aren't me... But that's a rapid and otherwise very good looking motor...
And yes, that's the closest...
Fcuk me - 28%! Just FPMSL! I've seen 4WD drivetrains with lower losses! Guy needs closing down for that shoddiness of work, and He's just trying to make a 200PS car actually make that.
it's quicker than a 1*2. It's not aimed at setting world records or 10sec quarters. In every real-world scenario the Vee tears all FWD Clios a new one, because it has oodles of this magic torque stuff. Put your foot down, any gear, any revs and you get action. The 182 in comparison just...
Haha.

Camera - yours was decent enough for point and shoot duties IIRC, just maybe needs a couple of tweaked settings? Worst case a Digital Rebel or something similar would be fine!
