I paid £25 at my local Kwik Fit, they did a tidy job. This includes a free check in a months time to make sure it is still ok.

It is around the £25000-£30000 mark depending on various options and dealer discount. It can go to over £30000 with all the options.

I would spend the 20-30 mins asking them if they could add the Cup bits............... :D Just check for dinks, scratches, anything that is not what you expect from a brand new car.

I think the Alpines blend in better with the 172/182 dashboard ? The Pioneer is a bit too silver IMHO.

It has been booked in to Renault for next Wednesday to have a number of things done to it. All minor and normal Renault ownership but they need to be done and they are pissing me off ! By next week, the car will be looking a little different !

I fancy getting a new headunit for the car now. Has to be able to read MP3s. Would be good if it could be connected to my standard Alpine CD changer but I dont think this is possible ? It is a MKII 172 so it would be good if it matched the dash colours too and didnt look too out of place...

OK, cheers guys. All of the damaged wires have been soldered but I will get it to my Renault dealer ASAP and see what they say ! I am just waiting for something else to go wrong ! The list of things to get done under warranty is growing ! Just waiting for the wheels to fall off ...

Ah right, so you are the man in the know then. Do you reckon it is the airbag or pretensioner then ? And shall I just take it to Renault, they should be able to sort it out yeah ? If they want to repair it, how much would I be looking at ?

Yeah, the SERV and AIRBAG light goes off after around 5 secs as normal. Strange tho as the light was on before I thought this happened on Friday. I will take it to Renault anyway and they can plug it in and check if everything is ok.
