Suppose if I declare everything other than the engine it will be a shed load cheaper on insurance too. Also if the engine is damaged in a crash it is likely to...
but surely if I crashed it or something happened I wouldn't be able to claim on the insurance.
Plus if you don't declare it there then surely there is no point declaring anything else?

ok well that is not too bad - except I'm not only going to be declaring engine but also cage, seats, fact that it is stripped (i guess), exhaust, suspension, wheels
is it worth it - who knows but I like to be legally covered for worst case scenarios!
Was the ECU upgrade worth it - I have a manifold back supersprint system, willy engine, extremely stripped - even sunroof has been taken out and doors gutted - also having perspex windows fitted.
All the works is being done at the moment but they have asked if I wanted an SMT 6 managment system...
How about DVLA do I just send the form back with the changes to the car listed?
I have contacted Adrian Flux am waiting for them to get back to me - Is the quote going to be shed loads if the car has a willy engine, roll cage, perspex windows etc.....

Kept valver gearbox as closer ratio but engine was so powerful clutch went within Ten minutes so am have a 'Roger...
Not yet dude - Have had a williams clutch ordered as the valver gearbox was closer ratio than the williams one and therefore the engine was too powerful for the clutch lol! Also waiting for the windows to arrive still

Because it is a Family Run business and I know the guy who runs it - They are actually called Btec and they specialise in building rally cars - they have mine at the mo. hehe!

Managed to get car to Oxford yesterday to the garage that will be doing my engine conversion (B-tec)
Williams engine was sent to my home not the garage lol - so had to get them to redirect it - oops
