Has anyone been on any? are they worth while?
I have just bought my first dslr and I was toying with the idea of doing one of these courses just to get to grips with it.. I have found a few local to me, of varying prices...
I'm not expecting to be getting great pictures at first, I will have a lot of practicing to do!! I have a week off over Christmas so that will give me a bit of time to get to grips with how to use it. I'm actually really excited to get it now, I have so many ideas of places and things locally...
I went 2nd hand, came with 2 lenses, the 18-55mm kit lens and a 70-300mm I think, a tripod, UV filter, Macro lens, and bag and cases etc. I paid about £300 for all of it which isnt too bad I dont think.
I was looking to get a new one, but I would have wanted an extra lens and tripod etc and i...
Ive just bought the D3100 today, should be here next week, so will let you know how I get on with it!
Its my first dslr too and just wanted to have something better than a phone camera for a few snaps, nothing pro!
Sooo, Ive just bought myself a 2nd hand D3100, which is my first dslr, with a couple of lenses, tripod, UV filter, bag etc. I just need an SD card to get me going. Nothing expensive but will do the job for now, I just wanted something better than the iPhone camera! The Mrs is going to be pissed...
yeh, can be in the room at bus station, or the shed at the diner area, the barn at the farm, or somewhere else that i cant remember!
EDIT - thinking about it, they all seem to be in rooms that you need the turbine to open
Not sure, I was trying to work it out. I think its something to do with the ranking system. You get different emblems, like the bones and skull, and I think you need 5 tally marks, or scratches, to then progress to the next emblem? not 100% sure though
You cant open the diner hatch without the hatch ladder that can also go inside the bus. and once it is fitted you cant remove it, so you need to chose either to open the diner roof or the hatch in the bus. Seeing as you can use the ladder on the outside of the bus its pointless using the other...
The outside ladder can only go on the bus, but the hatch ladder can go in the corner of the diner so you can get on the roof and get the knuckles. I wouldnt stay up there though, they can get up the sides of the building and the hatch (which is your only way down) so you get stuck!
I recommend them when playing any of the levels! Instead of putting the inside ladder on the bus, put it in the diner and get the galvaknuckles from the roof. 1 hit kills up to level 14 or something and then 2 hit kill until ~22. First thing I do when I play, either 1 go on the box or get the...
PS3 mate.
If you get lumped with some s**t people it can be pretty annoyning, constantly reviving, having to find all parts to build etc, might as well play single player!!
played tranzit with 3 other people who knew what they were doing last night!! makes a change!! lasted about 2 hours and got to level 29 or something.
Im loving the new zombies, loads more ways of playing it rather than just standing in one area killing them
I just got a kingston datatraveler se9 32gb for £15. Neat and looks nice..
same as this http://www.mymemory.co.uk/USB-Flash-Drives/Kingston/Kingston-32GB-DataTraveler-SE9-USB-Flash-Drive
Yeh i installed it the other night. just found this taken from the net...
This is one the fans having been asking us about demanding for a bit. Black Ops 2 has an option to "Install Textures to HDD."
When we explained to PS3 folks that installing to the HDD wouldn't neccessarily give us any...
Im enjoying the zombies far more than zombies on black ops 1. Once you get used to it and know where everything is its so much better. (on the bus level)
In the options menu of zombies you also get the choice to install... not quite sure what difference thisa makes though
Im not knocking plasmas, if it wasnt for the fact i would use it as a 3rd monitor for my pc as well as my gaming tv then I would get one, but image burn puts me right off.
I would never have a plasma as my main tv in the lounge though
LOL!! what are you basing this on?? Other than the fact you probably just spunked a s**t load of money on a plasma and trying to justify the fact you have...
Do they though? Plamsa always used to have better blacks and less motion blur, but if you look at a top spec, back-lit LED then they can actually out class most plasmas in terms of blacks and the higher hz figures of today make motion blur less of an issue too, unless going real budget.
Still power sucking units, still chunky, still heavy, still not as crisp on heavy detail images, but yes I you can watch it from 170 degress!! woo!!!!
Viewing angles is pretty irrelevant IMO. Who wants to watch a tv side on??
LED tv's use LCD displays, its just a different method of lighting.
Debatable. I would only get a plasma for my gaming TV. I wouldnt buy one for my main use TV. All depends on the useage you have for it. for instance, a plasma would be bottom of the list if it was going to display still images...
I personally wouldnt buy a toshiba, and the panasonic and LG you linked are similar spec so I would probs pick the LG. It looks a lot nicer and also has USB record feature if you dont have sky+.
