In simple term your right, but over a certain length and near magnetic fields you will hit problems. Most people at home will only run about 3m hdmi leads so it will never be a problem - a £1 cable would be fine.
When your running legths of say 25m you will have problems. rather than me...
I have an LG at the moment in the lounge, its a 100hz 1080p LCD and is perfect. good interface and allows divx files to be played from USB (something most brands do not do).
From experience and friends, panasonic are the way to go for plasma, and LG/Samsung for LCD/LED.
Exactly. You put it in terms a bit easier to read!
But in regard to the Plasma and LEd side by side, if you were to play a ps3 game on it then the plasma would look a lot better. Still images and normal tv will look crisper and clearer on LCD/LED, lots of motion will be better on plasma.
Full HD is 1080p, this is what you want to be looking at really. Some TV's will be described as HD ready, this is normally 720p which is a lower res. I wouldnt look at these at all personally.
And yes the higher the Hz the better for minimising motion blur. I think standard is 50/60hz, but...
Something like this would be pretty sturdy, but its near on £150...

But like youve suggested, I wouldnt hang my TV on a cheap mount.
You may struggle to find anything cheap and decent being a 40" TV. Most of the adjustable mounts that are sub £50 only fit tv's up to 37". But being a light TV you may get away with it
I wouldnt buy a tv nowaday that isnt Full HD to be honest. But depends how fussy you are
Edit- I dont think sky produces any 1080p content anyway, correct me if im wrong, but i think they go up to 720p. Things like playstation etc is where i would want 1080p
LED still uses LCD screens, just a different method of lighting, either backlit or edge-lit. For motion blur LED is still not up to the same level as plasma, Plasma screens can react something like 1000 times quicker than an LCD. But plasma arnt as crisp for still images.
Gaming and sports...

I wasnt, because it was too slow and and didnt get me interested. Far to much moving about from one side to the other, gets annoying after a bit. Would have probably been a great game had there not been so much back and forth going on. I like the fact the map is huuuuge but i didnt like the fact...
Right, I currently have my PS3 set up in my lounge on my 42" LG tv. It looks fine and am happy with it.
The problem is.. thats where the MRS watches TV and so I cant play my ps3. I have a 'man room' down stairs with a sofa, PC, home recording studio etc and was looking at wall mounting a tv...
Teamviewer is a pretty handy app for stuff like this... free for personal use, but for business you 'need' a licence.Could control everything on your PC though, video streaming via teamviewer doesnt work but everything else does (AFAIK)
Im the same.. I got battlefield as everyone raved about it, but I got a fraction of the enjoyment out of it as I do from CoD. I found my self getting so bored of the game that i would just get in aircraft and just smash it into buildings.
CoD will remain the same for a long time. Its a formula...
have had no problems with lag on mine, or s**t kills either. Im loving it tbh, so much better than the last black ops, decent maps and zombies seems pretty good. still havnt got my head around the zombies bus level yet thogh, its fecking massive!! Going to get a crawler later and have a search...
looking for some new foam applicators, I came accross the Hong Kong specials on e-bay.. £1.28 delivered for 12. Are these going to be any good? or should I avoid them?

Personally I wouldnt touch this stuff... but I have never used it. When i bought my ST the guy said i will give you this as its no use to me without a car, and gave me that stuff. Running my hand over the car and plastics i had black s**t all over my fingers and he hadnt driven it since cleaning...
but with the spray dont you find yourself having to clean the whole of your wheels again when it drips all over them? thats whats annoying me with AG tyre dressing
Rather than starting a new thread for a quick question I'll just ask in here..
Im just about to order a few more bits from i4D as running low on certain bits.. Any recommendations on alternatives I should get? within a similar budget? Its for a black ST..
