How long have you had the car? I would get a few miles under your belt in it personally before you go changing things. Cups are pretty good fun standard tbh.

Lighter so better fuel economy, poverty spec lights, simplified belt run means cheaper timing belt renewal and easier/cheaper general maintanance, less elaborate exhaust system, less electrical systems and simpler drivetrain (ABS/traction etc).
