Cleaning my Cup 172 this afternoon, I jacked up the rear and removed the wheels to clean them thoroughly inside and out. The inside of both rear wheels seem to be suffering from quite sever corrosion, there is rust clearly bubbling underneath the paint, particularly on the inner section of the...
Saw you this afternoon at around 12.30-1.00. You came from CNS school and then followed me down Newmarket Road into Eaton before turning right at the traffic lights. Was a 172 Cup and looked rather nice.
Any takers? :rasp:
Was at Lloyds TSB in perrymount road Haywards Heath today for a meeting - during said meeting I looked out of the window and saw a nice Clio Cup 172 in the car park, a bloke then came out and started it up and drove off. Looked clean and was a 52 reg. Anyone?
When is the next one on? I keep getting invites to them but I'm always too busy/tired to go :(Your 182 looked a minter, fair old lowering job going on as well??? I couldn't quite tell it was dark :)
Saw a blue 182 with anthracite wheels as I was exiting Norwich station last night - wheels looked smart, made me want to paint my turinis in that shade :rasp:
Anyone on here?
I took mine to GDI for its 36k and they charged me about £180-200ish. Much easier service on a Cup though, the 182 has a more complex belt arrangement.
So one of the 1000 mile old Conti Sportcontact on the front has a rip in the raised rubber area on the rim. Looks scary, but I'm hoping it isn't as bad as it looks.
Can one of your knowledgable guys in here have a look and tell me what the score is with it?
This is my car, excuse the...
Why don't you call the company you bought it from and ask for a refund? I would if I was you, the product you have received doesn't look like what you have paid for.
Provided your car has MOT and Tax there shouldn't be an issue with you parking on the street. The fact it is uninsured should not matter either, you want to claim from their insurance. If someone was trying to claim from you for whatever reason it would be a different matter all together, but...
This doesn't seem a bad price for a complete conversion. I've just looked on the MBPerformance website and tbh their prices for individual parts are shocking. €590 for the turbo manifold alone? Makes BBPT look cheap!
