yes the video issues are due to dry joints on the gpu.
they can be fixed if you can be arsed but could also probably be swapped under warranty with the same effort

timing belt goes from main crank to cam etc for the main donkeywork of engine operation.
iirc the aux belt if the effective fan belt with whistles as it runs the water pump, PAS & air con.
from what im told the belt itself is fairly strong, its the pulleys & cams which are the weakest links

yup, if youve gone to the trouble of spending decent money on pads then deffo worth it. cost about 50-60 quid inc fluid and a few hours crawling under the car with liquid dripping up your sleeve :)

i upgraded from symantec to avg for server + 20odd clients recently and been impressed.
