yes they can be unlocked. you either need to send the ecu or a copy of the flash in it to someone (ie a tuner) capable of removing the immo data from it thus making it a 'virgin' one again.
if you dont know what i mean by reading the flash then its not for you as requires technical knowledge...
yup. a pukka group n ecu is unlocked and pairs itself to your car when you 1st turn the key. Sounds like yours is already paired to another car or not what it should be !.

yup, the flashing of the indicators is controlled by the resistance of bulbs x capacitace of control unit (CR value in seconds) so when a bulb blows the CR is reduced hence a quicker flash !

lol its a 'feature' of the clio, the strut top is basically an oversized pole with a rubber top, which moves hence the 'knock' on full lock.
Can be fixed with a spacer / washers (search for the post by fred) or by completely replacing the strut top ( see ben_p threads re a group buy of them)...

erm you mean a remap ? the ecu is fine but it can be tweaked via 'remapping' the 'map' by changing fuelling, timing, and ignition.

You can either uprate pads or pads + discs
Normal dayto day use it is very unlikely you will find a limit of 'normal pads' unless they get very hot.
However on a trackday you probably will.
During sustained heavy braking both your pads + brake lines will heat...
