thanks for the replies ! No way I intend to do it if timing has to be done then.
I use Mobil 1 which a few have said seem to 'dissapear' more than average.
1 litre may be exaggeration but not by much. I must have done ~ 300 mile in the past 36 hours having driven the car hard for most of it...
Hi.
I have noticed for some time that the Trophy has been drinking oil and having recently done a reguar oil change and Oulton yesterday I appear to have consumed close to 1 litre of oil thrashing the arse off it. Dont see clouds of smoke but definitely burning it as not dropping at all and...
its not a case of recommending them, more more cost effective.
OEM come with everything needed and uprating is generally a lot more when not needed unless tinkering with brake bias.
Is one of the few Renault parts which is cheaper and simpler to get from a dealer than elsewhere

Plagued by the fences in most of them and finding the 350D troublesome in reviewing the shots I have taken these days.
Thoughts and feedback...
Great as always Nick!!
Every year I go to Donington and think I should catch up with you and never do !!
Like the marmite one as was close to you there but getting annoyed at the railings !!! Managed to find a spot with a break in for the tractor so got a few good shots. :)
OOh you did well finding my trophy as was only there an hour or so ;) Took some decent photos which I wont be able to upload till friday as away with work
Standard alarms (I think cobra) have led by the gearstick with microwave transmitters and receivers on the a pillars near the sunvisors. Imports dont have this standard so may have none / different.
Imports were sat for some time in Ireland iirc and sold to car supermarkets like Motorpoint. Because of this they were never fitted with certain items that RUK did at the import centre.
These were
Alarm Fitted
Locking wheelnuts
Etched glass with numberplate.
I think other than that the spec was...
I am having some gremlins with the trophy and have had engine management and limp on and off for a while. Shows code 0120 and 0130 as throttle and o2 issues - lamda has been replaces.
Now looking at thrttle issue (seems vague lots of posts saying body / pedal) I was checking with electrics on...
How do you mean framing ? As much as I love the 350d, 1) the screen on it is too small so its very difficult to actually see what you just took 2) 3 FPS means i miss quite a lot compared to newer bodies.
The Audi was a nemesis lol. As I was just before the old hairpin, the cars were slowing...
Great pics as usual Nick :) I liked the infield viewing area by the new chicanes, although looking at the size of the kerbs I can see why most kept away from them !
Got some half decent pics from Sunday.
Tried to follow DunganNicks advice, get focus point, set shutter spped and adjust iso mode so that aperute is ~5.6 but couldnt get the balance right, some pics are ok some not so.

Interested in unpinning the dampers though, not heard of that before and also due at Donington on track next month, could be worth playing with settings.
have spent most of the day trying to lock down internet access in vain.
have an sh script which currently works but allows all outwards.
I want to lock down port 80 via squid, and only allow a few ports / ips.
When i comment out the allow all line the individual rules dont work ! any advice...
Wife saw you near Greenhills Road, Riddings this evening....unfortunately wife was in scabby wanky tank Skoda Fabia hire car....my Trophy is nestled snug in its bed!
can you jump start it ? if so does it run properly when its going ?
You either have a flat battery or a knackered alternator. If you get the car running measure the battery voltage, when running should be 14+ volts. if its not then the alternator is dead on on its way, if it is you will soon...
IPhone 3+4 do not have the ability to send and receive MMS correctly.
Apples fudge is to make it email. You should have the email account linked to your sim and sending via this email is how normal folk get to mms an Iphone
