Chaps, Just weighing-up the options here. Although my exhaust it still fine for now - with the age of the 182, it will need replacing at some point. What options are out there if I don't go OEM? I would just want a straight forward - cat-back, bolt-on system that would replace the OEM one...

Changed the spark plugs today on the 182. Did it the safe way (i.e. one at once) and worked from right to left. With the inlet housing off, the first plug had '4' written on the rubber. Next onto '3' and yet the next said '1'? :S Sure enough, the last plug to be changed said '2'. Is this a...

Just spoke to spares at Renault and they said that the inlet manifold gasket is part number 7700114203 and cost £4.91+VAT. He mentioned that there were quite a few different gaskets on the system, so I just wanted to check this is the correct one? Cheers, D.

I've only noticed it in the last week really, having been off work. If I put the car under a bit of strain, say third gear at a relatively slow speed, the engine pinks quite badly. It's never done this before. It sounds like the familiar Clio V6 pink noise, but actually a little harsher, imo...

Any real advantage in the 8800GT over the 7900GTX SLi setup? With the 8800GT's down to barely a ton now - if the performance increase in there, it maybe worth it? I'm running Vista too, so there's the potential of DX10 support too. Cheers, D.
