how is your clutch and gearbox feeling after 59k???
I'm pretty sure that the 172 gearbox and clutch are made entirely from sandwiches and sellotape,
so i'd say this is normal.
Mine's like it pulling away in first, every time, it's really really wearing thin now.
Take it easy fella, it's winter and wouldn't want to see you lose your newly freedom too soon.
Trust me it hurts.
Have a good look on the website for a better perception of what 'doing it up' consists of.

think of the money you would spend buying it though, is it really worth it??
you could have far less heartache
for £1500 you could have a gdi cam package, hit 190bhp, or have loads more low down torque(428's) and feel just as fast, if not faster than the st.
think you're hankering after...
take that badge off dude, seriously theres no need to make it look like something it's not.
saw a non sport in tesco the other day with RS badges
needless to say i now have a spare set for mine
let the engine cool down,
start her up and put your hands over the tailpipes,
if it's blowing you will most definatly hear it.
you could get someone to help you, that's what i did, and mine was blowing!
wow, blinkered
it's all relative to what it's worth to you
I'm 19, my 172 and motorsport in general are a HUGE part of my life,
therefore i'm happy to pay £1700 with adrian flux, modified.
