For some reason i find myself unable to leave my car alone,
if it's not bucket seats it's an exhaust manifold, or a splitter, or something else
does anyone else have an overwhelming urge to modify your car??
and will it ever end?
will i get to a point where i'm happy?
get a big adjustable spanner or two on them and lever them straight,
less damage than a mallet (please dont use a hammer)
and they will be even along the length
my sills are bent, clio sills are made from chewing gum
alternatively ask them to put a tighter mandrel bend into the exhaust,
if they tell you it's not possible (and they will)
then argue, this will make the exhaust much quieter
it wont get quieter dude, i remember you asking how loud they were before?????
i had one on my old car.
you're either a modified car person or you're not.
take it back and ask them to put a more baffled box on now, or it will eat away at you every time you drive it.
had a full cat-back on my 1.2 16v and free'd up the top end an amazing amount
feels much much more responsive over 60mph
noticed it alot more when i took it off,
however that's not a de-cat
yeah took her through the twisties and feels a little more together,
people say they dont do much on a clio chassis but it does feel stiffer.
even if it's all in my head, still looks awesome in daylight!
got bored at work and decided to whip up a rear strut brace.
actually stops the top mounts from moving about a centimetre each side
not sure if that would actually cause any flex though,
still, looks good!
heated and quenched it, came out with a lovely heat warp effect.
gonna...
yeah i know the car mate.
funny though because a few wires would probably only be grams apart from a window winder.
would it not just be easier to get the electrics back up and running.
alternatively go to a scrappy and rip out the windows from a ph1 if you can find a windy one
in the wet they are awesome,
amazingly predictable and nearly on par with dry grip.
however they are a huge dissapointment for me in the dry,
had conti sport contacts before
eagle f1's are a REEAAALL dissapointment, they let go soooo much earlier on exactly the same corners.
however...
if any air is escaping from anywhere but the tailpipe it will be louder.
my old exhaust was blowing from a pinhole in the weld, behind the backbox
sounded like a tractor
370z isn't really JDM yet though is it. more european domestic.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA at the guy with the evo taking the piss out of matt's clio tt.
that thing makes and evo look like a micra
