That just goes to show how different tyres are completely unsuitable for one car and fine for another - I had the same problem with Toyos on my Racing Puma. They made it almost dangerous to drive!
I have decided to change both my fronts to another brand of tyre now though, as the Fuldas are...
Thats an old kerbing mark, very dirty, and the cut has only happened in the last 2 weeks (max.)
I agree with what you all say, definitely no point ending my life early over the sake of a couple of hundred quid!
I thought the limiter was set to 7150 though?
Where did you get it chipped? Would you notice a big difference if you went back to standard, do you have any mods?
Id take the Toyota lump any day of the week thanks, especially since a supercharged version is coming out with toyota reliability.
If it was a pre-toyota Elise, Id take the VXT, otherwise its Lotus all the way.
I had a small encounter with a kerb that didnt like me the other day, but I thought Id only scratched the splitter - unusual to have such a clean cut and no kerbing on the rim.
Is this
a) not ideal
b) very bad
c) the person with this tyre will burn and die soon...

Please can someone help me, I need a Fulda Extremo 205/50/17 93W tyre....
....can I find anyone selling them? no!
Anyone know where I can one of these, really need it and the lack of suppliers is frustrating to say the least! Apparently theyve replaced the Extremo with the Exelero recently...
Ah ok, I just saw http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=RENAULT&model=SPORT+SPIDER&variant=&keywords=&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=mk113lw&miles=1500&max_records=50&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCHthese...
Well Im not sure how your RR was setup, but at the AMD RR, they had the passenger door open, so the warm air from inside the car was being directed straight into the cold air feed....
....thats got to make some difference, considering normally (at the time of year) youd have 5 degree cold air...
My V6 was much the same at last months AMD RR; I got 225bhp at the flywheel, but this was with a very high loss rate (my gearbox had splintered ball bearings in it) and very warm air being sucked into the induction kit....
...Im guessing Id be pushing 500bhp easy with the right setup :p
Tried driving around with the engine cover today and I have to say...
...it didnt really do anything for me! In fact, I liken the sound to standing close to the back of a bus when it roars off; loud, but completely unsatisfying!
The greatest thing about (my) V6 is the sound of the induction...
