They think so. If not it would be a massive co-incidence in such a short time after replacing the gearbox. Typical that this would happen over the long weekend!
Maybe Ill get a NEW gearbox this time? :D
If I hadnt done a massive burnout at the start, and then went on to miss 3rd gear (ask mk1 V6 owners how this only seems to happen when you really need to get it right!!).....then it would have been very close. ;)
Ok I admit it, Im crap at drag racing!
Sorry I can not remember which need changing, but I do know that this is all done from the where the wires go into the plug (which in turn connects to the light unit) - you dont cut anything!
Oz SuperTs....because you know you miss the V6 ;)
Seriously, try http://www.silverline-raceline.co.uk/Silverline - they sell some good quality wheels and were a good price when I was thinking of getting some Turinis for my FRP.
I think a remap is a good idea, but I wouldnt do a superchip as theyre a generic setting....try talking to Wayne at ChipWizards. The price is about the same but its mapped for the specific car.
Riiiight, so Toyotas latest and most technologically advanced engine is worse than stinky old k-series, and V6s are rubbish at everything?
Dont think Id agree, but each to their own....
