The prices dont appear to have fallen much in the last few months. 3 of the bottom 4 under £14k are either cat C/D, LHD or damaged/repaired and the other at 12k? Hopefully just a fluke ;)
Keep it - like you say, you wont be able to get more performance yet, and thats a nice looking mk1 - and dare I say it, its much rarer than the hundreds of mk2s you see around.
Never seen the point of this apart from a bit of a gimmick? It would make more sense if there were a build-up to it - but isnt that what the tacho is for?

My silver V6 has covered 26k miles and there arent that many stonechips - the worst marks are under the front bumper where its scrapped kerbs and various animals, etc.
If its particularly bad Id assume it may have been tailgaiting everyone, all of its short life!
Decat will make a very small difference - only really worth it if you plan to change the rest of the exhaust system.
