    Fits without problems. Early 172 boxes max have a speedo sensor and a circlip'd diff instead of a bolted on item. Final drive on the ph1 boxes is a bit longer aswell.

    Not a straight swap. Hubs are different. You would need: front hubs, wishbones, struts, track rods, driveshafts (from a 1*2).

    Should be: ID 34.8mm; OD 65mm; width 35mm.

    Gearboy mount can't be adjusted. Make sure that the big main stud is tightly secured bey the nuts above and underneath. Especially the lower nut is known to become loose.

    Had the APs on my 172 quite a bit down (-60/-40) and they weren't harsh at all. But that was in a mk2.

    Why not? I commute 30 miles every day in a yozza'd and track prep'd 172. It's fun. Am i stupid? Maybe. Am i a chav? Hell no.

    Not always true as Rallye, hillclimb cars etc. need to be registered and road legal over here.

    Sure it's DOT5 and not 5.1? You shouldn't mix DOT4 and 5, only 4 and 5.1

    Nope. 1*2s with ABS have an electronic pressure distribution included in the ABS block.

    FK Königsports are not available in 60mm fitment afaik. H&R's are decent.
