Don't think it's possible to have the wheels contacting the wishbone. What coilovers are you running? What height? What's the offset on your wheels? How much camber?
No, they don't. A friend of mine is working for Lemförder. They have quite strict quality standards. OE for BMW, Rolls-Royce etc. Maybe TRW is buying parts from Lemförder. But i doubt that as the TRW parts are much cheaper than the Lemförder ones.
The DCI rack is powered by a electric motor on the column. I used some R5 brackets and a ?5pk825 belt?. Have a search on the forum, part numbers are listed somewhere. Pretty common setup when running a F4R in a mk1.
Edit: The Saxo setup is just the pump, the rack itself stays standard.
Well: ph1 and ph2 manifolds are the same. 182 manifold has the same flange as the 172 manifold, same gasket aswell. My car's ports are enlarged and they are the same size or even bigger than the ph1 ports and they are the same size as the manifold ports. Normally the manifold ports are bigger...
Clio doesn't have a MAF (mass air flow) sensor. ECU is calculating the load with a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor. Oxygen sensor is located on the exhaust manifold.
I fitted the 182 manifold and the KTR conversion cat to my 172 ph2. Works without problems. Regarding the exhaust ports: Mine were widenend up to the gasket size, which is the same size as the manifold ports. Ph1 ports can't be bigger than that, so will fit perfectly.
Renault manuals state that you need to fix the part of the rack where the rod attaches when loosening/fastening the rod/joint. I didn't do that and haven't had problems yet.
