    1.6 AC Delete?

Chilled air out of the vents necessary in England (and of course the rest of northern Europe)? :coffee: Wouldn't remove the AC on 1.4/1.6 aswell.

Pure Motorsport Aircon Delete kit (lightweight)

I'd go for the cheaper kit. Pulleys aren't that heavy and the standard crank pulley is dampened (for a reason i guess). Muchos hassle to change aswell.

Coilovers - confused which bolt spacing you have?

Should be 52mm but the later models (04-) might have 58mm aswell. Not sure.

Coilovers - confused which bolt spacing you have?

Don't think so. Early (ph1) 1.2 16v's have the 52mm bolt spacing afaik. But you might be right with the 1.2 8v always having the small hubs.

Coilovers - confused which bolt spacing you have?

    1.2 16v's can have 52mm or 58mm spacing. 1.2 8v's aswell i think.

    My 172 is overheating!

Did you check the hoses running to the heater matrix? Especially the main one that splits into several branches? Mine leaked on the gearbox.

MOT : Will EML mean a fail? (Not as retarded as it sounds!)

Just use the RSTuner and clear the ECM fault codes. No extra module needed unless you want to erase airbag/ABS faults.

    Removing slam panel?!

2 bolts on the beam in front of the radiator. Just loosen them and you can pull the panel out to the top.

    Buying spacers 5mm.

Plenty of lip, yes. I am running 5mm spacers on the front of my non-sport and that's been fine for ages.

    Mk2 Ph1 1.4 8V hubs same as ??

What's the diametre of the discs?
  25. mr.pink87

    Buying spacers 5mm.

5mm spacers can't be hubcentric. The wheel rests on the remaining hub flange. Get some proper H&R ones and 5mm longer bolts.
  26. mr.pink87

10mm Spacers, Do I need longer bolts ?

10mm spacers do not work on clios. Hubcentrics will foul the hub and the "simple" ones won't leave enough hub for the wheel to rest on. Get standard 5mm spacers or at least 13mm hubcentric ones. Bolts should always be: standard bolt length + width of the spacer.

    Standard CAT on MK2 PH1 172?

Most likely to be blowing at the manifold-cat connection. New fitting kit from Renault available. Awkward job to do.
