I'm glad the rear and sides meet your approval. I think I am seriously going to get them, as for the front, I do see what you mean about looking 'stuck on', my Hubby doesn't like it either, so I think I will stick with his and your opinion and go for the other one. ;)
Thanks Pettsi. I am seriously considering lowering her now, not sure how low to go yet though, depends on what the kit looks like, also allowing for the darn speed ramps and the fact my Dad has still got to be able to bend low enough to get in it her. ;)
Right, here we are.
This is the rear kit I am considering. The hole for the exhaust will be filled in (as I'm going for a stealth exhaust,as I want it to be 'slightly' heard and not seen).

These are the side bits. These are the most...
lol. I already look like :D and that's only after adding the wheels.Lmao.
I do understand the points being made about body kits and re-sale value. I'm not one for doing things, deciding I don't like it and getting shot . If I seriously don't like the kits when done, it will come straight off...
Thanks for all the advice guys, it really is appreciated.
ozzyo99; I do know what you mean about attratcing attention ( I have read what has happened to scott182. Thieving b******s!) so I have decide before I go any further with my mods I am going to go and get a 'serious' alarm fitted. We are...
Thanks for all your comments guys. I am inclined to agree at this point about the lowering, so will soon be asking about the best kit to get (without coilovers). I am fortunate as money is not a problem, so I won't be skimping. I will definitely be 'colour coding'. This will happen at the same...
Thanks Blue, I really love them too. I am definitely 'considering' lowering, I'll just have to see how the body kit works out first, don't want to make her too low and ground her on the darn speed ramps. That would seriously pee me right off! lol.
I have just recieved an e-mail from Longlife exhausts. They can do me a 'stealth' stainless steel system for £299, but recommend I have the body kit fitted first so they can position the tailpipe accordingly.
So, will order body kit on monday :D Im getting so excited now. Lmao
Na, not too keen on coilovers, just considering a decent suspension kit, nothing to harsh though, gotta take my 70+ Dad out in it abit, so can't be too stiff or too low. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)
Tee hee. I was waiting for the 'lowering' comments. I was at one point flatly refusing to lower her, but, if she still looks abit high after the new body kit I will consider it, and will be asking for advice as to what to get. I really do have to consider the speead ramps around our way though...
I ordered a set of OZ Super Turismo GT's from Halfords yesterday, got the surprise of my life as they were delivered today! I picked them up, nipped over to Kwik Fit to get a nice set of Conti Sport Contacts put on them, and now they are proudly sitting on my car. OMG, they looks the bizz. I...
I have air con but I very rarely use it. I find it eats my fuel if I have it on for more than 5 mins, so I tend to have all the windows and sunroof open and just put up with it, nice to give it a whirl for a few mins when its really hot though.
Hiyaaa :)
I like the car, think she looks sweeeet, as for the lexus lights, well personally I love them and yes gonna get some for mine too, already on order actually. lol. ;)
Just a quick question. Did the car have much fuel in it? The reason for asking is, if it didn't, it would obviously need re-fueling at some point, (I'm asuming you need a key for the 182 fuel cap) this would mean they would either have to dump it (if driven) or re-fuel, if they re-fuel, they...
Oh bloody hell, thats awful. I really do feel for you. My car is nothing special but I'd be totally gutted if some thieving git stole it. I am also of the opinion that they must have had a spare key for it, maybe (like said before) the garage where you got it serviced has a dodgy employee.
I...
Good lord, of course the 197 will be available in the UK. Is the guy totally of his rocker or something? The sports Clio (whichever model) is extremely popular, there is absolutely no way that Renault will not be selling them. That would be cutting their noses off to spite their faces.
I have...
The fact you are getting an mot done where you work, it is unlikely they will fail it just for the number plate, they may 'inform' you later that it's not exactly 'legal' but I doubt they will fail it. If you were taking it somewhere else however it would be a definite fail. Good luck with your...
That's a good and helpful link Rip3z, nice one.
Driving without a bumper is a big 'no no'. I think you should reconsider, and maybe leave you car at home for the day petroladdict. Safety should always come first! :)
