You can't drive with a tyre like that! That's really dodgy, don't do it! I really do feel for you, some damn curbs are way out of order for cars. I'm a stickler for reverse parking too. Scuffed my alloy slightly on a high curb in our town, well was peed off.
I guess I kind of go with the flow most of the time. I'm not bothered by traffic, or even traffic jams, I just take it as it comes. I do however sometimes get the urge for a 'drive'. I'm a definite country road girl, there's just nothing better than a challenge, don't do anything stupid, NEVER...
My Husband has recently fitted an AVO Coilover kit to his Megane Coupe and has developed a very loud knocking noise on the near side. On further inspection today it appears that the bearing on the top spring cap is really loose and rattling about. The offside seems pretty solid and only moves...
Just my opinion, but, would it not have been easier and better to have asked the nice people here on ClioSport what their opinions on its worth, (explaining what you also would expect for her)? I am sure you would have got plenty of feedback, and it wouldn't have cost you anything, also giving...
Well thanks Ali. I'm not into the loud 'look'. However, chavish or not, I like Miche love the Lexus rear lights and am definitely going to get them done! It's all a matter of individual taste, and we all have the right to that. :hail: to individualism.
Ohhh, he really had some bad luck didn't he? I hope they put it right for him! We're lucky as we have a really good garage I've been taking all my cars to (for the last 21 years) for mechanical work and mot's, and an excellent fitters/strippers/body shop who do excellent colour matches. :)
I'm not gonna put my body kit on myself, that's only because if I mess it up it could cost me loads to get it put right, so I'll leave it to the professionals, if they f**k it up they 'have' to put it right.;)
Hmm. I think I best not turn this thread into a grumble about little bratts.
Sooo, apart from maybe a body kit, lowering and having nice rear lights already :rasp: Have you decided to do anything else with the interior? Have you got Leather interior? I haven't but I'm going to get it done...
Awww bloody hell. What a gut wreching thing to happen, bet it wasn't cheap to repair either. Little s***s! I really do get mad at the damage some kids do to cars. We have a problem with kids with footballs, lost count how many times my Hubby's car has been hit, done it quite abit of paintwork...
I bet it sounds well sporty :D My Hubby has recently had a nice sporty exhaust put onto his Megane Coupe, sounds reaaly good and certainly puts a smile on his face. He's just put a set of Coilovers on it, but it seems he may have unfortunately damaged the drive shaft, and he's at the garage...
Mine is totally standard at the moment. I was considering selling her and getting the new 1.6 Dynamique S, but on reflection and actually taking some advice from other Clio owners (not so stubborn somtimes), I decided to keep her. lol
Don't get me wrong, I think the 'majority' of Clio's look the mutts nuts when lowered. It's just, I (like you miche) want it to be a 'tad' different. She will either end up looking 'refreshingly different' ~Fingers crossed~ or 'daft' ~Cringes~ lol
