Yep has the Cup spoiler (normal spoiler follows roof line, cup spoiler has a peak on it). By virtue of that it should have had a splitter...which will need replacing (£146+vat from renault and that will need spraying, or £110 from ktec).
EDIT
Here's a 182 without Cup packs (note spoiler/wheel...
Yeh Ety's are good too mate, but by no means 'better' it's all subjective. Personally I'm more than happy with my Shures, and it they break you just phone up and they send you new ones...no quibble, not that mine have broken.
They work in all cases really, you'll get a selection of buds so experiment with them for a good seal - worked great on my motorbike/gym/tube/aeroplane so no worries there.
It's important to get a good seal though, because otherwise you'll lack bass and you'll hear outside noise. Lots of people...
No the pictured car doesn't have a splitter mate, not uncommon though...a lot of them get fubared by hitting them on high kerbs when parking etc. You can get a nice carbon fibre replacement anyway from Ktec for £110 - http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=977

F00king bargain, honestly buy them. I have the E3C and they're superb, use them on the tube and you can't even hear the noise :)
If you're really tight though you could try these, but heard mixed reviews...
^He's not talking about buying a 172 Cup or FF though, he's talking about buying a Cup packed 182, meaning the best of both worlds.
Nothing controversial about saying the 172 Cup handles better than the 172FF, it's designed to.
Cup models do differ from models normal models with Cup packs fitted yes. The 172 Cup is around 80kg lighter and has a slightly shorter ratio box meaning it accelerates marginally quicker, however the 80kg saving comes at a price, no air con/leather seats/climate/xenons/headlight...
Not feasibly no, least not fully.
Cup packs:
Cup Spoiler (can be retrofitted).
Cup suspension.
Anthracite wheels.
In short the car will handle a lot better.
My advice is you paid too much for your 182, and not to bother with a MK1 Vee. Half the car that the MK2 is and that's saying something. Just save for a few years more. The V6 is a modern classic (IMO) so it's still going to look great in 5 years time.
Dan maybe in a straight line, but show it...
Only part 29389-1 is listed on the H&R website, interesting. What measurements you after now franx?

I'd not bother, within a year or two it'll be worth 10k and you'll be more than bored of it by then with a lot of finance remaning on the car.
Do the smart thing, let someone else take the first 'hit' and pick one up in a years time.
Loony, myself and everybody else on the forum appreciate edde's posts which are always well informed. You'd already thrown your toys at Maz in your typical bull in a china shop style. Lets try to stay on topic shall we?
Laingo did you try the above contacts, be interested in the price myself.
Gearbox is done at 72k. TBH 60k is a waste of time, just do it yourself keep receipts and take photos. There's a post on forums with what needs doing, but IIRC it's category A and mainly fluids change.
Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
Ali, in my experience they don't :)
Hmmm no cup packs, that to o further depreciates it. Try him at 4.5k cash he'd have had no interest I'd have thought.
Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
Guess the question is are you buying it because it's cheap? If so do you have the cash to fix it should it break? Yes, then go for it, but don't pay more than 5k for it - No movement? Get a clean 172.
Bull...they get better.
Nope but I'm curious as to how much extra power it would deliver with cams, I'm just trying to make some plans for budgeting purposes.
Henk, how much fitting would this take for 2 people to work on, looking at 6-8 hours you think?
Also as the vast majority of the club owners are UK based, how...
