depends on the insurance company , with regards to getting more power the 1.4 isnt much down on the 1.6 you could try a superchip hell i would at that price
I have been unable to make the FCS due to various technical problems the past 2 years now this year my car is playing up ..... when cold it feels like it is ruuning on 3 cyl then it goes away when the oil gets up to 70c
had a new coilpac plugs so now im thinking it could be leads

ive seen Phase 1 and phase 2 1.2 8v's with 239mm solid disks i was supprised to see daz's car with 259mm but it DEFFO does have 259 vented disks and the same lucas calipers as my old 1.2 16v

Brembos disks would look good on your car i know you like it looking good, federo (sp) normal pads run at a tenner trade or bendix from GSF are £12ish the disks are £30 each.

this mount is a must it works well, its not to harsh but stresses the other bushes more namely the upper gearbox mount but other than that its well worth it
Its a mass produced engine, it finds its way into meganes, clios, espace's its not a racing engine and its built to a budget .... for the money its pretty good .
the big end bearings are crap the pistons are rubbish and blocks seem to vary some are cnc machined nicely some are not ive have 3...
ATF is a no no .... who recomemmded it some kid on a forum?
Most tr5 is good enough you can buy it in 500ml and 1 litre bottles from GSF car parts
My local factors sell 5 litres comma for £12+ vat
The sensor for cold air where you stick your resistor chip is at the right hand hide of the inlet plenium. it is a pink wire with golden stripes, cut that put your resisitor in or if you have the new mk2 variable resistor then you need 2 wires one earth. with all this in place your ready for it...
Its not fit because you have not put the lip properly under the tailgate, if you open the boot and undo the screws both corners need to be fully flush with the boots metal lip then tighten the bolts up
