yep edde is right,but the 172 alternator will not fit the cup AT ALL it wont physically fit. from what you have said it sounds like they have put the wrong belt on and tightened it up with the brass adjuster, it also sounds like its too tight
you can download it from various places... its about 3 years old and doesnt gove you the part numbers for the many improved 172, 182 etc parts they introduced over the years
http://www.venommotorsport.com/shop/index.html click on wheels then PDC adapters, the vauxhall ones will fit as they are the same Pdc, just make sure the wheels you buy come with a vauxhall fitting kit (sprigot rings) you will need a 10mm smaller offset wheel too so they dont rub
Its the cup engine with a few minor mods, the wheel power is 152bhp rolling roaded this was before the inlet match on a 2000 mile engine, not interested really in figures i know its fast.

you will get slight play in the drive shaft at the gearbox end due to the way it connects to the diff. get a big bar stick it in the wishbone, move it up and down and check for play in the ball joint and track rod end.
Also does the car steer to one side or is unbalanced ?

The two nuts that came with the renault kit go on after the donut along with a copper washer, make sure you grease it up like a fat birds bath the rest of the lay out is right
chop the orginal one at where the curve ends, then get a flange welded on to fit a 182 cat and 182 de-cat, your car would perform better with a 182 manifold anyways saving you a job
The bearing is pressed onto the drum, buy a bearing about £30 take the drum off (30mm bolt) then take the drum to a garage ask them to take the old one off and press the new one in they will charge you £20 max refit the drum jobs a good un
If you have measured it as 52mm then it is, loads of 1.2's have the 52mm spacing esp the 8 valve 1.2's. Which suspension kit are you looking at buying? Is K-tec the only place that sell it ?
