Air bag light isnt an MOT fail. the other airbags will go off but if there is a fault with the other airbags it wont show up as the light is already lit. You can by pass the airbag connector with a resistor momo make an Airbag ready boss kit.

Car will run ok without both 02 sensors, its a high probabilty thats its either the temp sensor as edde says or the MAP sensor , the MAP sensor is located on the left of the inlet plenium.

in the engine there is a blue and black connector coming from the ABS computer the green wire is the speed pulse output.... i dont think your gauge will understand it as the UCH converts the pulse into somthing the clocks can display

Fit the 1.4 8 valve you wont need to change as much then ie change to uch loom and the interior looms are the same (i have checked the wiring diagrams)
