If the airbag system will go into safe mode just because a connector gets touched, or the seat gets moved, it doesn't inspire much confidence that it'll all work fine in a massive collision.
Should've been a recall really?
You will have to declare it for 3 or 5 years now that you've notified them. :(

They will have logged your incident on a database. If you have an accident in the future they'll check the database and if you haven't told your...
You can have it fitted to your car legally.
As long as your car is used/kept off road.
It might be useful to someone who does off roading, or wants the tyre to grow potatoes in etc, :)
That's why it isn't illegal to sell. (And quite right too)
You might find it goes out by itself then comes back on in a few weeks, that is pretty common if it's a failing O2 sensor but I would get it fault read.
My car passed the emissions test with the emissions light on, but only just.
Basically split my hand open using a brand new Draper Value chain style oil filter remover, the plastic handle came clean off the metal shaft, rubbish tool design/build, I should have kept it and sued.
I was also lucky when working under a car with my mains lamp. I'd drained the coolant but...
Sorry but *facepalm*.
You shouldn't be skimping on tyres and considering part worns just so you can spend more on performance mods. That is completely stupid.
Did my guide http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?607491-Lambda-O2-Sensor-Change-Guide-(172) (rambled on far too much I know)
It is very fiddly but not too hard to change if you're patient and remain calm :)
I've been getting low to mid 30's even on an airport run at a steady cruise. Not drastically bad fuel economy but a sign (along with the engine management light, fault code and lack of power) that something wasn't quite right. I gave it a bottle of emissions reducer and an hour long blast before...
I've always felt my 172 wasn't all that fast and I suspected the timing was set incorrectly. I also knew the O2 sensor needed changing but I stupidly never thought that could be causing the problem. I finally got round to doing it today, only I undid the cable connector but couldn't unscrew...
I think I'd sooner have grinded it off than walk into a garage, as a man, and ask them to remove a wheel for me ;)
I bet the garage just brute forced it off?
If this is the front fog lights we're talking about then they are not tested during the MoT, only the rear is.
I think I'd start by swapping the fuse with another just to make sure, as it can be blown and look ok still.
