Car was taken off road last Nov in the quest for more HP. Engine stripped ( Audi AGU 1.8 T ) and rebuilt using stronger internal components ( steel billet crank / higher spec pistons, rods, valves ) Fitted with an AET supplied GT35 turbo. Car will be running about 650 bhp when finished + Nitrous...
Leave it off - Renault spend millions developing there engines and will fit whatever they deem suitable. The filter youve fitted was probably designed by a monkey with epilepsy
Does it attempt to turn over or is it just dead ?

"Have been wondering what to drop the engine for some time and the Ibiza falls into the right category. It was cheap, there very light and the Audi engine drops straight in with no fabrication of panel work needed"
Jordy has run 10.1 on a 1.8T engine
With his new turbo ( which is f*****g huge !! ) steel billet crank and a little more gas hes aiming for a 9 sec pass this year.
And its only a humble 300c ( thats for sale - wanting an S6 )
Not as much as the clio. The engine and 6 speed box was a very tight fit and the box took up most of the N/S engine compartment. This left little space for the driveshaft on the N/S but lots of space for the O/S driveshaft. This combination along with 400 bhp and front wheel drive gave...

Engine has been overbored to 1900cc and fitted with steel rods / JE pistons. Ordered a garrett gt30 from AET turbo's last week and in having a custom built manifold built to house the blower. Going to run a...
They go but you have to bring the rad out by an inch ( towards the front of the car ) and then fit a Renault Kangoo fan motor with slim line blade. This leaves you with about 2mm of space between the filter and rad.
Should be safe - you will be in for a shock even with that power. A grand would see you with Steel rods + Forged pistons and a 1.9 overbore. This set up will take anything up to 550 bhp.
You will get bored of 270 horses ;)
Should have fitted steel rods / forged pistons whilst the block was out.
They will run at 300 bhp + but they dont last long
K04's are only good for about 275 bhp
Throttle potentiometer on acc pedal ?
TDC sensor ?
Check wiring loom going to ECU - theres a metal cover that protects it - this rubs on the loom exposing the copper core of the wires - this causes numerous different faults
Best thing to do with a leak is suck the already remaining water out of the floor well - strap a hose pipe to a pair of step ladders and aim the jet in the area you think its coming in through - then sit in the car with torch and a jiz mag and wait for the water to make an appearance.
