Hi all, i've got in the clio with morning to discover a soaking wet patch just to the side of my drivers visor. i know it must be to do with the seal or the drainage, but i'm at work & it is pissing down so i can't even check what the problem is, also i don't have a garage & it will be dark when...
I had a fiddle with the leads on the amp last night, gave them a little shake to see if any are loose and one of them made the protection light come on, but i still don't know which one caused it!!!
Hi all, I've mentioned in the past on a few posts about my sub going of intermit. I've checked everything and can't see why i'm having this problem. This weekend i noticed that it happens more often when the volume is lower (like when i have a passenger), but if i crank it up, the sub kicks in...
I thought my old head unit was the reason for my speakers going off, but it turned out it was an rca lead, but my sub still keeps going off now intermit and I can't find a reason why. I've noticed when it goes off that if i turn the volume up it comes back on. any ideas???????????
no the quality is isn't the prob cos i've ripped them from cd to itunes. they all sound good but i wonder if i had my bass up too much on my last alpine. an example is KT Tunstall on my old one the bass drum was very noticable but on this one you need to turn on the rock in EQ for it to stand out.
Anyone else having a few issues with this bit of kit? I have read the instructions, but it won't let me change the date. Also It's a bit strange with it's sound set up cos some tracks have plenty of bass, but others seem lacking (maybe it's how they are supposed to sound?).
Right i've got mine all connected up, but no sound coming from the left speakers. the rca leads going to the amp are in correctly so i don't understand why.
My HU arrived this morning, just wondering if it is just a case of unplugging my old one and plugging in the ida? Only asking cos i'm at work and the new boy is at home waiting.
What bits do i need so i can use my stalk controls with it? it's an 03 dynamique.
Also if anyone wants to buy my denison ice link plus ( with the alpine m-bus adapter), let me know it's the one that just plays through the HU, you can't operate through HU controls.
I like Alpine cos they are simple to set up for perfect sound, but they look old now, like they need a face lift. the pioneer looks great but seem to have too many things to tweek for sound. I wish i knew that fella who gets stuff from 'off the back of a lorry cash & carry';) so i could get the...
Hi everyone, my Alpine HU is on its way out and i'm wondering what to get. I would love the ID-x001 but it's too expensive, so i'm wondering what to get. i like the look of the alpine 9881 and the pioneer DEH-P65BT. I've only ever had alpine so i need some help please.
hi all, i've ordered a OBD2 code reader, i've had enough of the garage. Just wondering if anyone has a list of all the renault codes, incase the manual doesn't have all etc. cheers in advance:)
I'm having the same problems. My light has come on for all sorts of things from coils to breaklight sensor. the last time it came up with 2 speed fan (for air con) ,my car doesn't have air con. that was a month ago, but it has come on again and i,m too embarassed to back to the garage again.
won't some dumb ass think that could still be worth breaking in for? It is a sexy bit of kit though, but i can't justify getting one cos there is nothing wrong with my apline HU plus i've got a denison ice link.
