After a detail on both cars, we headed to some local back roads for a run out and I grabbed my SLR on the way out.

Same as me, I always look back at mine too lol. The only reason I miss living in the city, is I can't find many people for traffic light grand prix.

I prefer the Ph2's aswell, but I think there will be a point where the value of the Ph1's will take over the Ph2's. Providing you look after either, these cars are an investment.

My Brother-in-law just bought a Mk1 Vee, seems like he paid a good price compared to the one in the OP, the previous owner had spent a couple of grand on it having the front resprayed and kept it in a heated garage. Edit: Lower milage too.

Looks great, in two minds to get new front upper/lower and someone previously sprayed them and they look s**t now.

Cheers guys, mine has some crazy haze when the sun shines, it's also had chips filled previously and what looks like bad wipers have scratched the actual glass. Trying to decide what to do, as would love a new front screen.
