No way would I swap a 182 for a Meggy, not under any circumstances. You would be swapping one of the most fun and highly regarded hot hatches of recent years for a one that gets panned repeatedly in the comics for being boring.
If I *had* to have a car that size, as sad as I am to say it, it...
Well the bloke who did it said the main problem was getting the old one off, and it took them about 1.5 hours to do in total.
Mine is just the cat-back system. I couldnt be arsed to take the thing off / put it back on at MOT time, particularly has I am a numpty when it comes to mechanics and...
I couldnt care less what people thought of me and my car though. I'd buy a car on merit, not on what some random person in the street might think of me.
I'm sure some people think we look like charvers, but again, I dont care ;)
That does look nice.
My last car was a Golf GTI 8v. I loved it.
I now have a Clio 182... trust me when I say, all the Clio needs is a decent sports exhaust to add to the fun (it doesnt have that boomy sound as standard that I enjoyed in the Golf) and it becomes a better car in every...
Its not that its a bad car as the reason why its not going down too well on here - its the fact that its become grown up, refined, and boring. I picked up as much even in that review.
Face it, hot hatches are dead.
If I want better comfort than my Clio has to offer, for £16k, would buy me...
I wouldnt put a figure on it but it just "feels" better if that makes sense. Car seems a bit more urgent. Could be psychological admittedly.
I think it was blueflame who said it.
Since I took some pictures, might as well share em...
I've been out in it today, and I can say for certain that I feel this makes the car nicer to drive, it just adds a certain something (sound perhaps) that was missing from the experience before, and now I would say this makes it...
So, need to check pads, possibly discs, calipers.
I am inclined to believe its more than just dusty brakes, otherwise the problem surely would have been solved for more than a couple of weeks.
I see that the Cup does not have one.
Therefore, its not needed. Or is it? What exactly is meant to be the purpose of it, except for it being cosmetic?
How much does it weigh?
I'll say one thing about this system. Whilst its certainly unobtrusive on the motorway when cruising, this system is SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the standard exhaust, so its not for the shy. I dont know how it compares with other sport exhausts, but its pretty darned loud compared to the standard...
I've got a feeling (i cant look at the thread because the forum seems to be down) that the particular video might be barcrawlers ST....
He posted it on a forum i go on in a 0-60 thread, incidentally, I posted mine there as well. I was quite surprised that a supposedly tuned Focus ST didnt go...
When I'm not using them that is. I can be driving along, and I'll hear my brakes squeeking, not constantly, but like on off as though you can hear the wheel rotating. It always seems to be as I steer towards the left hand side, and, if I straighten out or use the brakes it shuts up.
Last...
Well, you'd be pissed off too if you'd bought a "second best" product :D
LMAO at the "high centre of gravity" comment about the Clio. The Fiesta looks like a van, so how is that any better. If she was driving an Elise or VX220 or other similar sports car, she *might* have a point, but she...
