Bad luck,
but does kind of emphasise the point of young, inexperianced drivers and fast cars.:dapprove:
We all learn by our mistakes, no matter how expensive, although if you did hit this guy up the arse it tells me that you was too close in the first place, cause the 172 has excellent ABS...
Nah Lee, a youngish lad up Newcastle, but the rear window does have a yachting sticker in it, lol, just shows it was owned by a sensible owner in the past, I hope
Welcome to the club
I'm 6' 3, and manage just fine, even room for the child seat in the back, cars ok on the motorway, but then I didn't buy mine for that
I thought exclusives where green with cream leather. Mines just silver with the usual half leather, may possibly be sills taken off an exclusive, but why, they'd be hard to get hold of
Funny enougth, i've just put the clear side repeaters on tonight, they make quite a difference.
The rear P2 lights are already in the shed and just waiting to be fitted
The pics arn't the best, took em with my phone when the light was going.
A set of 16" OZ Super T's are next I think...
Finally got a decent day to clean the car after fitting the colour coded door handles and strips.
Used meguaires clay bar followed by the wax.
Couldn't believe how much dirt and grim the clay bar pulled out
Why not have a look on flee-bay, theres quite a few for sale on there with car dealers
They are a fair bit cheaper too
Failing that buy a mk1 172 and put the cash saved into yer insurance:approve:
I've got 6 month of an 18mth contract left, cost me 30 quid for 180 quids worth of credit, gotta say its superb, never ever been able to use it all and I batter my phone at times
Just fitted a cat-back power-flow stainless exhauast ststem, frezzing my nuts off on x-mas eve led under the car on the street fitting it:(
But sounds the bizz with the Hillpower Induction Kit that I fitted at the same time.:D
Just waiting for my de-cat pipe on the forum group buy and then...
And over the child seat:o
A small price to pay for a much improved look.
It'll all come together in the new year, got a hillpower induction kit, blueflame de-cat, just waitin for the exhaust and alloys after x-mas and then off to chip wizards to RR it.
That looks the dogs bits! hopefully mine will have a similar look, just waitin for a set of 16'' OZ Super T's after x-mas and some clear side repeaters.
Makes a transformation, I'll have clear pics up tomorrow
I've not had it that long but the black stripes and haddles where driving me mad. :S
Lucky for me my brothers a vehicle sprayer, so we stripped the parts off tonight and hes taking them to work in the morning, and I'm getting it all done for FREE :D
Posted some before pics, I know people...
Has the seller declared it off raod with a SORN declaration, if so then you need to take the form to the post office with your docs and tax it.
Obviously this may be difficult if yer waitin for your insurance papers to arrive, unless you know someone who has a traders policy and is willing to...
I suppose it all depends if you know what your lookin for, if you can get a low milage CAT D and plan on keeping it for a substantial amount of time it could work out better in the long run, and lose less money over time. People ay its mad to buy a cheaper 'damaged' car, I think its mad people...
