My mates Williams 3 has just dropped its box. It needs a new gear box and he's got a new car so his interest in the williams is non existant. I'm thinking about buying it, so my question is
how much will it cost to fix
how much is it worth
it has 90k on it and is very tidy, no rust etc...
I know how opinions are on here about CAt D cars, but i've persuaded my mate to join the 172 revolution as he was so impressed with mine

My seats and steering wheel are immaculate. not a mark on the seats. The car is a W reg with 37k on the clock, the seats are like new.
All depends weather previous owners wore rings etc

It might have been absolutely freezing, but the weather was too good to ignore the car. So I gave it the works inside and out using Auto-glym products.

Been a few years since I had one, but if you lift the bonnet there are two plastic vents either side of the windscreen, one has the jack and the other the ECU, drivers side I think, I apologise if this is wrong, guessing from times of old
I'm quite a tall lad, but I love the feeling of being enclosed in a small car, I feel more in control of the vehicle and it makes for great handling when I'm driving through the twisties:D
Also means that theres less to polish!

Sounds nice Benn, My brother has a Powerflow on His GSI, and I used to have one on My Clio 16V, always been excellent and never a problem with them. They do some real nice custom jobs
Didn't buy this one new though, got it on fllebay for an absolute bargin
I needed a spare key for the car so I bought a fob from fleebay and also a set of programming instructions, will this be safe to try, it won't buggerthe car or keys up if I do it wrong?
Any advice please
