I know how u feel about renault mate, i kicked off big style at my local renault a few weeks ago when it took them 4 days to decide that my decoder box was broke (i told them when i took the car). 2 cut a long story short i nearly cracked the fat woman in the face but verbally went mental and...
U get white dust from all polishes as far as i know. i always get it using SRP but dont really know how to get rid of it so i just go for a fast drive an it blows off.
i know on a mk1 it has a reciever near the light but the decoder box is behind the drivers side air vents (on the right of the steering wheel). If the new ones work on radio frequency then mayb theres one in there. Just a guess
Cheers mate thats the answer i was after. Not gona attempt it then. got a few mates in the business so will ask one of them to sort it for me. How much am i looking at for the job to be done and how much does one of these silly sounding nipples cost??
might make a tiny bit of difference in performance but doubt it tbh. And id assume the petrol wont be much difference either as even though its a performance filter the same amount of air is going into the airbox. Not sure though.
How easy is it to bleed the brakes on a mk1??
Well for a start what exactly does bleeding the brakes involve?? And is it just normal brake fluid that you fill them back up with?
Cheers all
Cant u get stick on plates that look exactly like the real plates but just stick onto the bumper?? surely theyd pass an mot and they must be legal as their no different to normal plates,
Think thatll save a bit of weight.
Give it a few knocks on either side not behind it, it usually loosens at an gets it off the ring thats its seized on.
And that looks like a mint piece of kit!
Na they wont fit mate, tried it with me mates old saxo lights but they dont sit right cause as said there a slightly different shape. Just get ph2 lights like cat said, they look alot better than standard ph1's
Ul be lucky, not sure if anyone bothers spendin that much on a mk1. iv seen my mk1 photoshopped like that and without the side strips it just diidnt look right, too plain and boring without em imo
BTW if anyone ordered tickets and forgot to put "cliosport" down and didnt get a club parking pass then i have a spare one. Bought 2 seperate tickets and put CS down for both so got 2 "R"s.
Why didnt i look at this sticky before i bought my new tyres! just bought new set of proxes, never spent much money on tyres tbh so ill wait an see what their like and try differnt ones.
ill do it for £5 as long as i can use hammerite and paint brushes!
What car is it mate. i got quoted £900 for my mk1 which is what i paid for the car so not spendin that on a paint job!
can get portable barbeques from morrisons for cheap. if everyone brought one of them then doubt theyd say owt lol.
As far as im concerned, im not travelling all the way there to think about food when theres a mint show going on.
Wanna get some show plates made up for FCS but not a clue what to have on them?
What do other people have on theirs??
I was thinking either just "Clio" or "MK1 Clio" or even "Chris Clio MK1"
What do people think? cause i havent a clue.
I know uv already done it but for future reference the easiest way is to heat it up with hairdryer and use a stanley blade. itll come off easy and leave no sticky stuff if u use the blade slowly.
