the sony A200 is a better package than the base nikon units and people will out grow it very quickly or get annoyed at the lack of the internal focus if they want to spend more on lenses. you are far better off buying a decent camera to start with. I bought a 300D many moons ago when I first...
no MLU, can't AF with loads of nikon lenses, can't shoot raw and large jpeg, can't get metering with older nonCPU lenses, only 3 AF points, poor raw buffer, no nikon grip option, poor supplied software
not BS if you ask me
it is a dark picture but wither its under exposed is personal choice
the problem would be is if you made it more exposed (longer shutter or larger aperture) then your highlights will blow. shooting dark and bright objects in the same frame will always have that problem. use a small amount...
shoot raw + small jpeg that way you can see what you like then edit in photoshop. the slowness for opening the RAW is down to your computer being slow. download the latest RAW plug in 4.6 I think it is too
assuming the camera RAW file in CS2 supposrts it. when I got my 40D I had to get CS3 to use the RAW converter because Adobe stopped supporting CS2 so never updated the file.
pretty much all cheap tripods are the same interms of quality. you want a tripod that is actually sturdy and easy to adjust both for the pod itsself and the camera.
you don't want somthing that will get blown over but likewise you don't want somthing silly heavy. Cheaper ones also come...
if you hang the mount from the roof and look up its easier to clone out. IMHO you're much better off learning how to shoot static shots first particularly as rig shots not as easy to so as they seem, they need the same compositional skills.
58mm is the filter thread, the lens mount (EOS EF) will be the same to fit it to the camera.
Does the fisheye screw into the filter thread on the lens?
eh? the lens mount will be the same, the lens filter ring may be different.
step down 77mm ring 72mm filter
step up 72mm filter 77mm ring

Got a canon 40D with canon efs 10-22, canon efs 17-55 f2.8 IS, canon 135mm f2. L, sigma 10mm f2.8 fisheye, sigma 50mm f1.4, sigma 1.4x TC.
if you are on a very tight budget look at the sony A200 18-70 kit which comes in at under £300.
it will work. the canon version don't work with the sigma 70-200 though lol the only reason my TCs don't work is they protrude too much so can't actually physically lock onto the lens
