stunning bit of kit. the high ISO images are something else TBH.

only thing I noticed when I was working at knockhill was the buffer increase 17 V 6 makes a huge difference on RAW shooting lol. I don't bother with colour on the screen because its a jpeg not a RAW image which does make a huge differernce.

I've used both since they were released in the UK and don't see a huge difference between them. maybe I'm just blind

its a huge upgrade not only in IQ from the vastly superior sensor but you get bigger buffer, better focus, FEC, better chassis. you'll not see any noticable difference between 20/30/40D (40D slightly more noise).

you only push the car and do an exposure of about 0.5s-2s so its not like your are driving about like that lol

TBH not worth it. better off learning how to shoot cars statically than doing the rig shot.

large apertures will reduce DOF not what you want for glamour shots. make sure its warm, make sure she does not wear tight clothing as skin marks are not attractive. better off without flash, natural light with gold reflector will give a warm result. I'd probably not go below 50mm...

for AF to work you'll need an HSM (sigma) or AF-S (nikon) lens

nissin Di622 is a good 3rd party flash for under £100

the only crop fisheyes are the sigma 4.5 and 10mm lenses and the tokina 10-17mm other fisheyes are for FF

no it can't because the FOV is different for each focal length. you might be able to curve the edges but thats all

10mm fish eye on a canon 40D = 168 degree view 10mm rectilinear on a canon 40D = 110degree view top picture is a wide angle lens (you can tell due to the perspective) probably around 15-17mm on a crop camera.

nothing to do with ISO, thats just bad exposure. changing the iso will just adjust the shutter speed (in av mode) or increase aperture (in tv mode) depending on the sensitivity of the ISO. the way to change the exposure would be to adjust the exposure compensation to let less light in

use on board flash, 430ex, studio flash in the studio and studio flash on cars out doors. all depends on the effect I want to achive

iso got nothing to do with the effect. dakr night with no street lamps and cars with headlamps on causes that effect lol

430 is a decent flash gun, if you want to save a bit of cash get a nissin flash Di622. Bought one for my dad and it works really well

even if you set flickR to no links/downloads you just have to look at the source code and you get the link to the image
