pretty decent effort there with good eye contact in all of them.
my only real complaint is the light ratio, there is a fair bit of output different between the two light sources which is not good for the type of shots you've got here. too much shadow in places is making her nose look...
is has to do with the native range of the sensor. my 5D2 goes from 50 to 25600 but only 100-6400 are actual ISO's with the rest a software trick. ISO 50 on the 5D2 has reduced dynamic range
your image would be sharper if you had shot at f5.6. Diffraction will be making the photos soft at f10 meaning you'd not have so much sharpening which would reduce the artifacts you can see in the OOF areas.
not spectacular photos by any means but not ones you'll see very often of the erskine bridge.
this is outside after we have dropped down a manhole on the north side
this is the entrance to the bridge iso 12800
looking left along the middle of the bridge iso 25600...
so you have tension wires etc on it to stop movement . never understood why people don't show the rig it's not the important bit of the shot. having seen quite a few rigs I doubt it's anything new from what's out there already
must be lens distortion that makes the rear wheel arch/wheel...
seriously lol
bit gay that - some suckers or magnets plus poles and a camera attachment. why not show it?
how did you remove the rig, the back wheel and arch look very odd.
thats a poorly stitched panorama - look at the white lines.
take a series of photos (portrait orientation) and then blend them together using software. one that I did
buy yourself Langford's photography

Then practice - a lot of the great images you see are well post processed so don't be too discouraged since they are not the same as when they left the camera. Learning how to do post is pretty...
not arguing but correcting and incorrect statement. there are plenty of lenses that fit the sony system for the majority of people. yes they don't have any super teles or tiltshift lenses but I don't the OP is going to be able to afford those.
your 18-70 while not the best lens in the...
its my opinion I don't think the 7D has the best IQ particularly with its noise characteristics. If someone posts about 7D Vs 5D2 I'm always going to go with the 5D2. While the 7D has a better AF system, more focus points, faster FPS than the 40D, the 40D has better IQ. I just don't rate the...
