Maybe he did a search for pictures on google and they appeared and he liked them so used them as they were better than his own pics?
I'm sure if you host piks on certain websites they can appear in google search images?
I've just had a set of 4 maxxis 195/45/16 MA-Z1's.
They came highly recommended and get great reviews.
Be interesting to see how they perform.
Got them from these guys http://www.tyretraders.com/tyres_home.aspx
Brilliant price and service. Ordered them Thursday morning and they arrived Friday...
-11 here the other morning. Nicks DCi fired up no problem. My 172 did the same. luke warm water to de-ice all over only for it to re-freeze 2 seconds later.
How i miss my heated front screen from my old Focus.
Go out half an hour earlier.
Clear snow from drive and car.
Start car to warm it up for the Mrs.
Pop back in and have your compulsory bread and milk. (but not too much. the panic buyers, bless 'em will have cleared the shelves.)
Go out again, re-clear car and off ya go.
A selection of tools over the years in various cars. Tapes/cd's, coins, sticky sweets and pennies stuck in them or pens. In one of my old XR3i's i found a small bag with some wraps in it under the gear stick gator.
I've had a GS2 for a fair few months now and does everything i require from it. I looked at all the reviews and came out on top at the time and pipped the iphone 4 too.
Nice size screen and some good apps from the play store.
It has crashed a couple of times which is annoying but then again most...
a few years ago i had a sierra xr4i and modded that(adj'ble koni's, bigger brakes, leather interior, s/s exhaust etc..) and told my insurance company and they said it was ok as only wheels were the only external visible items and were not on their 'modded' list at the time. I then bolted on a...
The spigot ring should fit tight and flush inside the centre bore of your wheel and should just fit snug on the cars centre hub.
A spigot ring is fitted to reduce the bore of the alloy to fit the cars hub. This helps when fitting your wheels as they fit tight and help in alignment as mentioned...
Hi, i have a problem with my passenger side headlight on my ph2 172.
It points way too high and i get the odd flash and also its anoying to drivers im behind.
I tried to adjust it the other night and as i pulled the allen key out it pulled the adjuster knob with it and it fell inthe engine bay...
Not too bad on the price for a car of this year and spec. I replaced my broken Focus 2.0l Ghia (fully loaded) with my 172. Great car although not a fan of the seats but so gonna miss that heated front screen this winter.
Clio car boot meet sounds good. Maybe incorporate a swap shop too. An iphone swapped for a set of wheels or an exhaust swapped for garden furniture. W.H.Y?
Just an idea.
It shouldn't get any worse. I would imagine you have just caught a curb or similar and as long as it hasnt gone down to the canvas it should be ok. But peace of mind by changing is a good move. I never change one tyre always a pair. Makes me cringe to see different tyres on the same axle. I...
Before you go spending too much money i would take the car to a tyre centre and get them balanced. Before you go and if possible to do so, take your wheels off and give them a good clean on the inner rim and also make sure your hub faces are clean and free from any kind of muck.
I take it you got 16's on atm then? I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure the rolling radius between say a 14" wheel with 185/60/14 tyres against a 15" rim with 195/50/15 tyres and a 16" rim on 195/45/16 would be about the same so not really a noticable difference in ride hight. Only the tyre...
Antracite better than black? Mmm I've just bought some TD s in silver and was thinking about spraying em black but getting a bit too popular and i can see why coz they do look good. But antracite does it just as well and might be my option. ;)
ouch!! As you said lucky it was a wall and not another car or worse a person.
Atleast its only easy to replace parts albeit costly. More of an inconvienence than anything and something you could do without.
Same thing happened to me with the wifes Metro Gti several years ago. Nothing parks...
As i have mentioned in another thread about spraying grills i did mine last weekend. upper, lower and fog surrounds.
If you are not sure about doing it i can only say you will not be sorry. It really does freshen the front end up no end.
One point is tho, i didnt sand mine or undercoat it as i...
