I went to buy new shocks recently for my old 1.4RT, and there was two different ones for the same year, one with 52mm and one with 54mm spacing between the two bolts at the bottom. So maybe on the valver the spacing wont fit a standard clio, or maybe they are different sizes?

hmm you sure? It was REALLY loud high pitched, surely it isnt meant to sound like that? :S could there be a hole in the air intake or something?

Test drove a valver earlier today, J reg, seemed ok part from a few minor things. But there was a high pitched noise coming from the passenger side at about 3k revs, seemed to be coming from under the dash really... Any ideas? Cheers -Sam
