Just noticed a small leak on the o/s near the tracking rod, seems to be coming power steering fluid, but its a very slow leak... Could this be causing the problems?
Ok admittedly havent had a look if it went up when I turned the ignition... but the other one definately is not working!!
With the steering, just to double check... When the car is stationary, there is no play at all, you move the wheel a cm the wheels move (with the engine+power steering...
I went to buy new shocks recently for my old 1.4RT, and there was two different ones for the same year, one with 52mm and one with 54mm spacing between the two bolts at the bottom.
So maybe on the valver the spacing wont fit a standard clio, or maybe they are different sizes?

Test drove a valver earlier today, J reg, seemed ok part from a few minor things. But there was a high pitched noise coming from the passenger side at about 3k revs, seemed to be coming from under the dash really... Any ideas?
