I had the KTR which I believe are Gaz coilovers on my hybrid and they are stiff but good at what they do.
Avo's are raved about lots over on WC but I have had no personal experience of them.
I'm waiting to fit my H&R's to the Willy..........ah must call Gdi :)
Get a set of KTR/Gaz coilovers and with the change get them set up correctly.
I have had 2 sets of Gaz coilovers and there really not that hard..............well not un-manageable anyway.
That'll polish out by the looks of it.
Failing that a bit of wet sanding would probably do the trick.
Got any better pics?
I managed to get rid of this at the weekend with wetsanding a polishing alone, no paint was used
Before
During
After
They were quoted £900 to...
More opinions on what? Hasnt Ben answered your questions?
Anyway, I managed to pick myself up a PH2 182 gearbox for just shy of £300 as I couldnt be arsed with f**king about with a Williams or PH1 gearbox.....................There goes the coilover fund :(
That suprises me Rich as I am yet to find a colour it does not look good on.................That said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you want to sell your concours I will take it off of your hands..............can never have too much:)
Called RUK yesterday afternoon and they have offered to brunt a percentage of the cost to replace my gearbox even though it is out of warranty by a year.
However they have to do the work and quoted me approx £1300......c***s
Confirmed this evening its defo the gearbox.
Have just ordered myself a 182 gearbox
Will hopefully have it fitted by end of the weekend, if all goes to plan.....................famous last words:o
Thats why I said it depends what he wants from the product, some just use it as LSP.
I only really use HD Cleanse, then a Zymol wax followed by field glaze on clients cars..............only get the AG out for cheapo valets and my van
Depends what you want from your product, personally I would much rather use a wax
Only really use SRP & EGP if its for its winter coat as it gives better protection & longevity over a natural wax
Something cheap and cheerful would be Collinite, P21S or Zymol Carbon
Thats me confuzzled lol
What do I do with the studs and washers?
So I dont just want to undo the nuts/bolts holding the sub frame and lower it on a trolley jack then?
Nice one Dan, sounds piece of cake:)
Take it I dont need to drain any fluids other then the gearbox oil?
Lowering passenger side of subframe, is it just a case of undoing the bolts and letting it hang there, or will it need supporting under a jack?
Cheers Dan.............anyone else think its the Diff or maybe something else?
Is it an engine out job to remove the gearbox?
Are there any guides on removing the gearbox?
Is it a DIY job or will I be better getting GDi to do it for me?
Its gotta be running for the 29th Sept as were off...
Right I think my gearbox may of given up on me.
It started off as a rumbling when I was taking left hand relatively high speed bends when all the weight was over the drivers side front wheel. This rumbling could be felt through the steering wheel as a fast judder.
Then all of a sudden it...
I offer the Aromatek permanent odour removal service, however this takes 2 or 3 hrs and costs £20 an hour................Comes with full money back garuntee and is yet to let me down.
