Yes mate. I had mine done at RS Tuning at Leeds before the advent of the RS Tuner - the two are not to be confused.
The former is a garage and tuning company, the latter a plug in module to allow you to upload generic or custom maps via your laptop to the cars ECU.
Sure someone will be along...
:rasp: nice one - yeah it will be level when your tracking it Jamie - oops only on right handers though. :dapprove:
Pleased you like it - get a re-map on it for a bit more low down punch. ;)
Jesus Christ mitch, put a few more letters in your words and take the time to make your posts easier for everyone else to read. :dapprove:
You would have got more replies having presented your question in the correct manner.
On a positive note, I ran Continental Sport Contacts all round on my...

Have a look at this site for some really good informative reviews.
I have the Nikon 18-55 VRII kit lens [for lightness if wanting a bit of zoom-a-bility]
and a Sigma 18-200 optically stabilised lens [for outright zoom range/...
I only used to use the 172 in fair weather/weekends only and it soon ended up with a flat battery that I had to keep jump starting off the van. :(
Worst of all was when I went to Silverstone, i filled up with fuel about half an hour away from home and it wouldnt start on the forecourt of a very...
Mine's late 60's and mentioned a Jazz, think that's why mum was pointing him toward the CTR.
If he'd not sold his last car I would have swapped him for that. 4.2litre Jag XJ.
My mum loves the wifes RB182. Took her out for a spin a couple of weeks back and she was amazed.
Then again, she is trying to talk my dad into buying my Civic Type R off me - it's not even for sale!!!
Trying to soften me up when I went round to see them saying they would do a straight swap for...
Cos people think I'm loaded driving a Clio.
I saw a "poor" man the other day, I thought your poor fcuker just driving an M3.
Should have got the M3 CSL its got a carbon roof, not the poor mans steel roof.
Roy Munson & Brown Bear, you have it right fellas :approve: - the 182 Cup...
I was after a FF182 with cup packs a couple of months ago, but the best example I saw was a 182 cup in racing blue. So I bought that.
I dont understand peoples comments on here about 182 cups being half arsed or whatever, they were a good £1k or so cheaper than a full spec 182 with leather...
I've done this before by machine and by hand polishing.
I actually gently wet sanded it to begin with. Working from 2000 grit to 3000 grit to remove the scratching that the previous owner had left on the black works van.
Couldnt be arsed in hooking up the machine, so hand polished with...
He he ;)
Erm, if I was a premiership footballer I'd be in my twilight years. :rasp:
Still young enough to drive round in a RB 182 Cup though. :approve:
Type R went up from £360 to £560 at renewal time. Told them to get real and ended up insuring with Aviva for £350.
182 was something like £310 fully comp protected - both with Aviva.
Nowt wrong with the riding of the copper.
He was doing 140mph in places.
Where some think he should have grown balls/ got faster bike, I think in reality he was being cautious/sensible. :)
I changed mine in 10 mins on the 172 with xenon headlights.
Tight squeeze with the hands, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Put it like this, I had two pairs of different sidelights, wasnt impressed with the colour of the first pair, so changed them immediately afterwards for the second pair...
I like the panoramas you have there. Nice.
You happy with it then? I had the s9500 a couple of years ago, like you, bought it before plunging in to the DSLR market.
Now have Nikon D80 and few lenses - wouldn't be without it.
Thats why I went for the CTR.
Though when I had the 172, I ALWAYS got between 38-42mpg.
I'm returning 35mpg in the 182 but doing a fair bit of town driving in that too - so I cant complain.
RS Clios are great on the juice when you're just plodding along normally.
And with the turn of pace when...
Ok, I've had the RB182 Cup for a few weeks now and I have noticed the following - wondering if anyone can shed any light on these for me.
1. Sometimes when I lock the car with the fob/plip it beeps three times. Yet other times it doesn't ???
Its a standard RUK car, with the standard fitted...
