Save yourself loads of money and do it yourself mate, just make sure you spend ages sanding and preparing them and you will get a great finish and wont have cost much at all.

Ive had my engine cover off and just took it down the street and was really loud, I have BMC and Quicksilver exhaust but didnt go too far as loads of dirt started being flicked up into the car lol. Wont be doing it again but has to bo done once to know what its like lol

I have the X001 and love it, dont miss CD's at all as they only get in the way anyway. Screen looks mint and the searching through the playlists with the wheel is very easy.

Umm tough one tbh lol Vee has more torque lower in the revvs so never really need to redline it for overtaking etc, wouldnt have thought there was a great deal in it but the vee is definately faster IMO :) Saying that the 172 has the 4.5k "kick" lol

The 172 has been sold by the way, I wish I could have kept both lol The vee isnt bad for a daily drive

Yes it is mate :) There is a boot liner in the front which is out in the pic as was changing a blown headlight bulb, is quite big actually.

I swapped a ph-quick for a mk1 vee and would much rather be broke due to fuel and have the vee, I cannot live without that noise everyday :)

Got to admit I do like the mk2 vee but unfortunately budget wouldnt allow it, I think as I came from a ph1 172 I am impressed with the build quality and speed but if I drove a mk2 172/182 or even vee I would be dissapointed. At the moment I am very happy with the mk1 but would love a mk2 when...
